Nice sliders but the wait time is rediculous.

 

Idk… seems pretty typical wait times for good quality sliders.

 

I'm on day 74 and after 2 unanswered emails and finally a phone call i was told roughly another 2-3 weeks before I see them. Thats a long wait from claiming 8 weeks and taking full payment with no updates. Don't get me wrong I think the design looks the best on a tacoma and I've heard great things about the quality but you will find the same talk with others from different people. I can only wait and hope the hype matches the wait time.

 

man that sucks! Ya I got mine in the 8 weeks even during Black Friday sale. I’m wondering if there was a human error/mistake processing your order…

 

Thats the impression I got with the guy on the phone but he wouldn't say it. lol Just glad we have 8ft of snow around my area so I can't go play anyways.

 

sounds fun!!! Ya I got to spend time talking to Jeff Westcott when I was there. They’re expanding like crazy really. He said basically each Black Friday the number of orders is double the previous year.

 

Finally got tracking. 3 months 1 day from my order date. Also found it interesting that I have to pick up at haulers hub. Lol I'm glad there doing good but I'll never purchase another thing from them no matter how good the quality is.
From what I paid the service sucked.

 

ohhhh ya I live very close to them so I didn’t have it delivered. They installed it for me. Ya I can’t speak to their shipping speed. Sucks it took so long sorry

Any input on these vs Cali raised? Just getting started on my slider search.

 

DOM or “drawn over mandrel” tubing is the strongest type. There’s also MIG vs TIG welding. (TIG welding being superior but more costly and time consuming).

Westcott Designs offers both DOM tubing and TIG welding, and I think they’re the only sliders that come like that. So I suspect they’re the best sliders out there (I love mine).

caliraised claims DOM tubing so they’re likely very strong (I don’t know what sort of welding they use). So you can’t go wrong with them if you want to save some money. But if you want the best then go with Wescott Designs. It may take a while though…

I do see people who do pickup are getting their orders quicker than does who want them delivered

 

makes sense. Ya mine were available as advertised; I also had them install them too though.

 

Living here in Arizona, a friend ordered there's and got it sooner than the wait period
