    You can ask for it. People don't get them done usually cause they have to touch them up usually. DCLB sliders are big/long

    Mostly. Did it once a year down south, and each spring and fall here, on my jeep.
    Seeing as how I am not abusing this like my Heep, I will be going aluminum. No need to paint. Might even leave them raw.

    I was thinking about aluminum but I have heard from a bunch of people that wheel in them and moved back to steel because of the lack of strength. Then I thought bud built stainless steel but the price was crazy.

    It kinda depends on HOW they will be used. For my uses, CURRENTLY, aluminum will be just fine, plenty strong, lighter, and no rust. Coat contact points in antisieze, and let it rip.
    My Jeep had a HEAVY reinforced "bash" plate. That took a damn beating.
    If I was using this like I used the Jeep, I would stick with steel.
    Besides, if I mend up back in South Texas, wont need steel.....

    Yessir. The bottoms will get scraped up for most peoples' uses and will require touch up after wheeling or a couple times a year
