Where in VT did you end up? That was my neck of the woods. If you ended up in Readsboro by the store, it was probably Turner Hill Road.

I think that is what it was Turner Hill Rd. It is not paved, correct? I just remember popping out in VT on 100.

The Dead People Tour 2016 will be a back road driving tour of some ancient cemeteries of the Berkshires. I am going to try to dig up some of the history of these places. There are some really crazy stories that go along with these places.
Along with visiting cemeteries I am planning to add some cool spots in the county (maybe Mt. Greylock, a haunted house in N. Adams, etc)
Along with some great places for food and drink. :hungry::cheers:

What I am thinking is a South to North route.
Seeing that most of you will be coming from the East, I thought it may be easier to take the pike to exit 2 and then go from there.
    Tentative route:
    Beartown s.f.
    Oct. Mtn. s.f.
    Wahconah Fall s.f.
    Savoy s.f.
    Hoosac Tunnel (for Jade :D @tacobell007 )
into North Adams (real haunted house?)
Up and over of Mt. Greylock
late lunch stop at The Olde Forge
Route 7 south back to pike

Any thoughts/ideas? Is there something that you would like to see that is not there? Something you may have heard about?

@DrFunker looks like I won't be able to make the 29th as I am unfortunately attending a wedding I don't want to go to. In fact I'm in the wedding party I don't want to be in lol. If the date changes let me know :bananadead::mad:

My philosophy on weddings: I'm not going to subject anyone to going to one for me, so I have no intentions of going to anyone else's. We're even, end of discussion, case closed. But that may not work, consistency is key there. :D

I always thought the amount people spend on them is nuts. If I were to ever get married, a justice of the peace and license is just fine. Take the thousands you would have spent on a wedding and put it toward your mortgage, throw it in savings, remodel the kitchen, build a deck, buy kayaks or mountain bikes and pay the expenses for a trip to use them. Literally anything other than blowing it all on one day.

You are a very forward thinking individual though. Many people would not think ahead like that.
    I agree with you.
I learn that the wedding isn't so much for the people getting married as much as it is for the spectators (guests).
