Yeah it is, We have about 120 tickets sold, going to cut it at 150, so still a good amount left. Posting a link below, but I think facebook also lets people buy tickets these days and they are available through there also.

So far only had one admitted forum member show up (at a wedding) and he was from NY and late so I didn't get to chat much with him. If anyone ends up going, I'll most likely be out front greeting and opening doors to keep myself busy, so say hello if you make it.

Beer and wine for sale, we can't sell liquor however. And bring your own :rasta: , as it is legal (no indoor smoking), but cannot be sold yet.

This is our first one. One of my college roomates starting doing standup in Manhattan a few years ago and we've been talking about getting a show together, and finally did it. If this goes well ( so far we are considering it as going well) we will try to do more. Maybe 2-3 comedy shows a year, and my buddy would set up all the talent for us. We are putting on a few dances later this winter too as community fundraisers. A father-daughter for the fire department (went well last year) and a 1st attempt at a square dance to raise money for the newly re-opened library (doesn't even have running water). The winter is our off season and lets us play around with some new ideas, and we don't want to be known only for doing weddings. These types of thing will help get us out there a little more, and hopefully we can start doing more "fun" things in the future, I'd like to maybe do some acoustic music nights as well. Big shows would be fun, but our neighbors don't seem too excited about excess noise so far . If there wasn't already a good carshow down at Ioka farms, I'd probably look into that more too.

Yeah we want to do similar things. So far staying away from alcohol license. Don't want the responsibility, but we are getting our kitchen a commercial license for next year and might rent it to some people during the week.

So far I haven't seen anyone else on here with a 1st gen, however I did not peruse all 187 pages.... Nope, I did not....
Whelp, I was doing my periodic craigslist search & happened upon this. Sucks to be taking advantage of someone else's misfortune. Anyway, my main need is a rear bumper. Mine actually looks in better shape than this one. & anything else I could use looks like it got toasted, although that 1/4 panel....

Yes. A rear bumper is first on the list. Driver's side headlight cover. My passenger 1/4 panel has a patch of rust that I have been keeping at bay. Wheel well covers & the trim serve their purpose, but they also trap the moisture & I did not see the damage until it kept up over the trim line. That can wait though. or is less of the financial priority. & I imagine there are more things to come under the hood, although in these cases new or reman parts are probably preferable. I am ashamed to admit she's been neglected. I have been doing routine maintenance on my vehicles right along & I had rolled up my sleeves here & there on some of the uncharted territory stuff (ignition coils, carrier bearing....), but it wasn't until a mechanic botched my body mounts last year that I stepped it up & three days later, last nov, in my driveway, I figured out how to undo what this guy screwed up, then put her back together the right way & saved 450.00. That was when I joined TW. Since then I've done a variety of stuff & she treats me good, but I got'a do my part....

Or were you just looking for a yes or no? ;)

Works for me! I will see if my buddy has any parts he is willing to sell, I know him and his dad had a couple they parted out. I use to do some body work, but am no professional. What do you need for motor work done?

Guessing it'd be wise to do the belts. I bought her with 80,000. I asked a trusted mechanic to give her a once over & he said the belts were the originals. I'm now at 224,000, same belts. & while I do not have a leak per se (no puddle), I can see the oil is having a pinch of difficulty staying put. Got a whirring noise that is new, so I have yet to investigate. Bearings? Power Steering? No symptoms of either though. Getting a misfire reading from #1 which I had taken care of earlier this year & then double checked a month ago. All looked good. The guy at O'Reilley's cleared it & it's back.... Again, no symptoms.... Probably should do the A/F sensor. Did the downstream last year.... While I was painting the frame I was noticing some bushings that look a little almost non-existent.... There's probably more.... I'm sure there is....
Wonder if this is what it feels like when people go to confession....

Yea that stuff will happen when the truck gets up there in age, takes some work to keep it going. The misfire code is a bit strange though
