Always great to see you. Thank you for the gifts! Just a suggestion on reheat, I throw those vacuum bags right in some hot water on the stove (not boiling)And just let them come up to temp. Keeps the moisture, texture, and flavor the same as when they are fresh off the smoker.

i work at the dealer in greenfield and he brings it in for service. Definetly a nice setup. Has the OME BP-51 suspension. I haven’t talked to him but I heard he uses it to live in while at work instead of hotel rooms.

Guessing that was the water leak one? Wanted to swap the grill out before it goes back on the lot but I’ve been out for a week and half.

Yeah that’s the one. I wanted to come get the grille before it went there. Never happened though.

It's not easy sometimes to figure out the best way to go. The thing that happened last year was that there were four of us heading west on 9, doing 45 in the 45. We came down & around the bend right before Shaw & up ahead, just past Shaw, there was a cop in the middle of our lane, his car across it in an effort to stop traffic, although the problem was he was a little too far up the road meaning, the four vehicles, mine being the last, had all just hit black ice. The first car somehow managed to veer to the right into the breakdown & not hit the guardrail. The car in front of me spun to the left, did a 180 while skidding across the road & landed in the snowbank. I then found myself face to butt with the second vehicle, another Tacoma. I spun left 90 degrees & then stopped.... or so I thought, until I found myself sliding backwards. Luckily there's the odd pulloff there, otherwise I would have nailed the guardrail (although I do need a rear bumper ;) ). I slid into the pulloff, came to a stop, sat there for a minute, text my boss to let him know I was gonna be held up & then realized that at any moment someone else could be coming along & I would be a sitting duck. So I got myself out of there & found out that there had been a really bad accident farther up route 9. Meanwhile a driver showed up who had just come from 116 & down Shaw Rd. He said he had come from N Adams & things were fine that way & they were.
Ya just don't know. I check the temps & the precip. Thing was, even though it was above freezing, it was early a.m., foggy & had been below freezing overnite. Add in a little wind & boila! Plus as much as I dislike cruddy, potholed roads, there's something about that brand new, almost too smooth, blacktop. Just seems like it's askin' to get slickery.... Anywho, I still have a hard time understanding how it is that no one hit the other, nor nailed the cop.
So like I stated, I can check the temps & other factors all I want & decide on the route or whether to go at all, but there's nothing like having the real time/real person assessment. & really, it's not so much the snow, as it is the ice. & not at the risk of life & limb, but I love the way it looks when driving through Plainfield & Savoy.... Lots of shiny objects to get out & take pics of while freezing my ass off....

    DSC04087.jpg P1830798.jpg

So maybe if it looks questionable, I can check on here & see if there's any info for me to use.... What part of NC? I lived in Manteo for a spell....

It was icy out here yesterday, I think today with the warming up it should be all water by now and not much ice on the roads. I am worried for Tuesday when this all freezes again. THAT will be a dangerous driving day. Clear skies and nice weather...but everything melting in the last day or two will turn to ice.

I was in Raleigh NC, so right in the middle there. Had some land in Belhaven by the Intercoastal Waterway and tried to go out to asheville once or twice a year.

@Bridge4 Hey Greg, I don't think I've paid attention if you did mention it, but I put a bunch of things together on Saturday in my head. Do you happen to work at Warfield House?

I meant to ask you, when I was leaving, there was a taco that looks just like your sig, and I drove at you and was waving. Got a blank stare like "who the f*** is this" and so I turned off and drove home... I think it was you!

I don't work at Warfield House, we did check it out a bit before starting our place up. The wife and I run Bloom Meadows in Hancock.

Thanks! I actually sold 6 out of 11 last year at Barstow's store in South Hadley. Only time I have put 'em out there like that. I am working on mustering up the courage to do another. :muscleflexing:

    Nice.
Does the Cummington Creamery do stuff like that as well?
Thinking of another place on route 2 that may be interested in doing that too.
Your insect photos are killer. As a FF, I really appreciate that. :D
