The Wildpeaks came out originally and had big issues, I had mine bought back as well. The new AT3 W--The W is important, as I believe it's the updated one. Is great, but there are some people with some struggles still, I think @Chasespeed might be one?

Have the wildpeaks on my truck and ko2's on the 4runner. Like the wildpeaks better, but no one seems to have issues with quality control on the KO2's.

My favorite AT tire are Toyos. but most $$$ too. All are bad in wet. I think wildpeaks are better in bad conditions than the KO2's and are cheaper...but sometimes you get a bad tire. They do replace them tho if that happens.

Really, price and style. Which one looks better, and which one is better to your budget right now. The actual differences in performance are probably minimal, at least I've found them to be in the real world.

I wish they still made KO1's.
I've been running them for the better part of 30 years on my Chebbies/GMC's and now on my Taco. I'll get 60k out of em ,as usual.
I have another year's worth out of them, then I'll be in the hunt for tires.

Currently have KO2's on the FJ. Nothing bad to say about them, but I don't put the miles on it.
So far ,no issues with those.

That's my point, no one has issues with KO2's. And every once and awhile someone does with the wildpeaks.

    Some stuff
Ive given up on the wildpeak issues.
I DO like the tire other the random vibrations.
KO2s hand them on my jeep. Great in the sand, snow, no vibration. I would have gone with these if I could get them in C range in the size I wanted.
DuraTracs, personal favorite, except they get a bit noisy as they wear.

    Hey Chris!
It’s been a chaos of a summer for me. Lost both of my grandfathers, started a new job, got tons of house projects that are behind schedule, found out we are expecting our second, and ended up buying a new truck.
Lots of ups and downs so kind of just trying to get everything back to a somewhat normal routine again. As such I haven’t been active to lately on here until like last week.

    How you’ve been?

    Wow....that is a very up/down summer.
Sorry to hear about your grandfathers. My condolences.

    Congrats on Thing2. Exciting.

All the best to you and your family.

Things were busy here for me. Didn't get much "fun" stuff in this summer, but got a lot done that has been put off for a while. Feels like I am tying up some loose ends.

You know when you’re walking towards a truck and say “that’s a sexy truck” and then realise it’s yours? Lol, I know you all have those moments!

Pretty damn good craigslist find. BF Goodrich KO’s and wheels. Rims are beat but they have the TPMS and the tires only have 20k on them. I paid $100 for everything.

The batteries in the tpms sensors are prob dead. They Typically die after 7 years. Mine died almost exactly at 7 years.
