I'll have to tell my brother about killington, I feel like he will make the drive this weekend if he knew! I am almost ready, finising up my required winter prep this weekend. Waiting on my snow removal attachments on my tractor as well, but those should be in next week or two.

Maybe a snow day on Tuesday it looks like :fingerscrossed:

I skied killington on opening day monday. 1.5 trails, bumps formed quick and got scraped by 2 or so, but was nice to be back on snow. May go back up tuesday, may do leaf cleanups.

I plan on giving myself a snow day, been pushing over the weekend to get a lot done so I could have tomorrow easy once I saw the forecast.

I bet they send you home early. Maybe a cancel if the boys and girls pray hard enough :fingerscrossed::pray:

 I am sure there was a lot of dancing and spoons in freezers last night.
Not going to happen. The timing looks pretty shitty, but the temps right now are too warm for snow/ice.
And with the amount of salt on the roads, nothing will stick.

    Have a good day off.

I think you are right, still 38 here, and I dont see anything sticking. Maybe we get a half inch.

Oh well. Still early for this type of stuff.

Got my wildpeaks installed from Built for the east. They were great there. Really changed the look of the truck.

After my initial warranty swap out I've been happy for about 20k miles on mine. I find they are only okay in water (not good) but I haven't found an AT that is. I was pretty impressed with them in snow and ice though. They aren't snow tires, but they are pretty good IMO.

Glad to hear you had a good experience with those guys, hopefully they do well and are around a long time, everyone here seems to be happy so far!

Hey guys and gals! I got hired at Jiminy Peak (I think?) last night doing a lift operator.

Anyways, besides to brag about my new career, I wanted to pass the word along. THEY NEED HELP. They pretty much need help in all areas, at all times and are struggling to find enough people for everything. Ski lift attendant, parking attendants, snow makers and more I'm sure.

If you know someone looking for work close enough, send them over there or have them call up, they are practically guaranteed a hire, unless they have some wicked hang ups.

Your boss Billy is a good dude.

And the ski benefits are petty good as well. Free pass for yourself. Plus your dependents(wife, kids) ski for free as well, or if you are single you can get a discounted pass for a friend(I don't remember the % discounts off the top of my head)

Yeah I met him last night for the first time, super nice guy and seems really enthusiastic about his job (in a sincere, none corny way) The free pass for the wife and I was the main motivator, some cash every week doesn't hurt either though!

    Did you ever work there?

I managed the ski shop for 6 yrs.
Love the berkshires. I mostly lived in Stephentown, but also Hancock and Wynanskill.
I would love to find a full time job up in the area. I have a house in stephentown that I rented yrs ago and the owner calls me every yr to rent again or buy it from her.

I'm gonna try to work weekdays, so maybe on a snow day I'll catch ya!

You gotta come out to one of our comedy shows, had another last night and it was a blast. Probably will do another in May. I think most of you guys would like it who aren't too far away! Usually have 4 comedians from NYC for $20 and show goes a few hours, no complaints after 3 of them and it's one of our most requested events!
