noted. Definitely don’t want bro lean. I’m most likely just going to have it installed. I’ve heard decent things about ‘built for the East’, so I’m going to check them out. Thanks for all the good info

Yup. My connection to Jiminy, is I work for the company that owns the ski shop there(just at a different location now). I am the head ski buyer for the company. Unfortunately since we are having that demo, they took most of the Stockli skis off my wall in Kingston.

If you go up to try some have fun. I ski on the Stormrider 88, but really enjoy the Laser AX, and Laser AR.

Planning on driving through western Mass on Monday enroute to VT. Weather prediction looks rough. Seeking local opinions. What are your thoughts?

NOAA: HEN...From Sunday evening through Tuesday afternoon.

    * IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the
ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions
could impact the morning or evening commute.

    Paging @DrFunker ..... paging @DrFunker ....

Its gonna be messy, but if you have good tires I'd do it. Give yourself some extra time for the other idiots out there.

:pccoffee: Sorry....the outlaws were here this afternoon.
Yeah, I am hearing kinda shitty. And by shitty I do not mean snow, that is goody. :D
    Freezing rain, sleet, etc.
Let me check into it a bit. My very trusted and reliable source is on vacation from reporting so I will try my best.

I am in agreement with @Bridge4, if you are cautious and have suitable tires, you should be good.
It is the other people on the road that could create a "not-so-good" situation (and there will probably be more than the usual amount of those on the road).

@DrFunker way to lay it all out there for us! Going to be a nasty couple of days for sure. Everything my app/websites are saying are either straight rain, or a mix and then ice.

 I love weather. I am in the wrong field for sure.
Yeah, any slight temp change will drastically change what happens.

Yeah at some point today accuweather said 3 inches of snow, then warmed up 1 degree and said .8-1 inch of rain.... Dark Sky has been rain the entire time, a mix of rain and snow tuesday.

You should call up Mr. SnowDay and ask for an apprenticeship. You can do live "on the ground" videos and reports from all your hidey holes.
