Yeah, my back yard (which is usually damp), is drying quickly.

    Wish i wasnt right.
How's the snow look? There's no way they will be closed through the 22nd, then reopen.

I was there Friday and it was good skiing in the morning. Started getting soft around 10:30/11 and I headed out. But they had enough. My brother went yesterday and said it wasn't bad. I think the rain this week might change that though...it didn't sound like they were confident of re-opening.

I don't think its political, its an update that effects us all. They have things over 25 people banned until the 17th. Our first wedding...the 17th. :fingerscrossed:They don't extend it!

We were gonna do a "Hancock History" Day. We had it lined up with abunch of speakers, photos and a few tables. I think even were having some school kids in town get involved. The idea was it would be free with donations at the door and maybe a little raffle and then donate the proceeds to an org in town.

Well, that isn't happening next weekend like we planned. :frusty: I'm guessing most people attending were going to be older though...so probably for the best.

Hello from Framingham... that's western Mass right!?
I couldn't imagine - that must be horrible to have to just wait it out. Hope everything works out.

We've had a few people call up about May weddings, but the April couple doesn't seem concerned. We are going to reach out to them though, and play the May ones by ear, but with the attitude that we are open if they are willing.

If we have a bunch cancel or be forced to cancel I'm not sure how that will work out. Who covers those losses? for both sides...

And then if this lasts for most the wedding season...well, we would be in trouble that's for sure. I honestly think we will be back up and running by that first April wedding, things are progressing, vaccines are being made etc.. etc...

So I'm going to prepare the property like we will be rocking for then. I spent two hours power brooming the driveway this afternoon and am going to get all the brush burned this week. Talking to landscaper about some fertilizer as soon as it warms up a little bit and we are meeting with our gardener early this week to plan out our gardens this year. Had meetings with new couples this weekend, and more planned for the end of the week:thumbsup:

I had one in NC, I found it filled up quickly and was a pain, so I did an open air one. Might just wanna build a roof to cover a small area and get a pitch fork:D

Thought about just palleting one up, just then the decadence factor kicked in. :D

    ahhhh....no more forking?......ahhhhh

This is what I had but a green version, not sure of size requirements. But I feel like composting takes a long time, and these things would fill up first. May be wrong though, I was only a rookie composter, wasn't really sure what I was doing.

I used to have a great one in the place I lived at in the valley. The system kept up great, but it was just me not a family. So....
Will do a little more research. Thanks for the input. :hattip:Mucho appreciativo.
