    Yeah, we are still using it on the roof, but for the sides some more traditional product then it will be covered by insulation anyways which removes a lot of the benefits of it. Stinks tho because this is supposed to be a relatively cheaper build and have the feel of an upscale hunting cabin...double the cost of materials and its an issue. Luckily our contractor got quotes and prices locked like 4 months ago on a lot of stuff, so we are at least catching some breaks.

    watched the first few minutes, seems like a guy who can play some guitar! I don't know how I havent seen these guys before. Great little spot for a nice show it seemed too.

    Realized yesterday someone at the wedding this weekend clogged our pipes, which are 3-4 inches, so it means someone flushed something they shouldn't have....

    Plumber at 8 to check it out, most likely having to call in the big guns from the septic company though it sounds like :mad:

    Never ends! At least the work crew is back today for the MIL house.

    I just finished spackling utility room ceiling . What a joy , like puzzle pieces cut out around all the pipes and ducts . Propane tank and line goes in tomorrow. Guy that screwed up garden tub tile is coming back to fix his disaster. Can’t believe this guy did such a shit job . . .. he will not be getting paid until it’s done right

    Well he came back and tried to fix his screw up and put 2 more chips in the tub :mad: which he tried to fix with porcelain patch . :notsure: My daughters FIL had to redo what he did . I haven’t seen the finished product yet but I will be headed over shortly . Unbelievable

    He offered to buy a new tub thinking it will be $300-400 . It’s more like a $1000 . It looks better now you really can’t notice anything now that it’s been caulked all the way around . I suggested small corner round tile for top of back splash at a later date . They just want to get in the damn place .:annoyed::angrygirl: He definitely laid it out wrong . Holes for faucet fell right on edges of tile .

    When we built our house it was amazing at a few points with sub contractors where we created specific plans for things, went over it with them in person, confirmed again when they showed up to do the job....

    Then they just did whatever the hell they wanted anyways and messed up some very simple things.


    I can only imagine their frustration.
