So I've talked with js312 about lifts and levelling. Any of you other fellas lifted or levelled? Are there any shops in Western MA that do this kind of stuff, can't find any?

Pretty easy to install a set of 5100s yourself if all you're doing is leveling

Yeah, I'll probably do. I might get coils too though, so I'd have to get the spring compressor. I know you can drop them by using a jack on the control arm.

If you order them together from Wheeler's, they have an option where they will assemble them. That's what I did. Didn't want to deal with a spring compressor...been there, done that.

I love that road! some of those dips are pretty fun.

There's a mountain access road near my parents' house that I drive up occasionally, and that one would be terrible to meet someone on. You'd have to back up for potentially an entire mile. No possible way to get off to the side. Never have, thankfully.

In Bennington, VT there is a place called Big Boys Toys. They do off road stuff. Someone at work just had a shitton of work done to her Jeep.

my friend got his jeep liberty stuck last winter on the road going around the pond. Said it took multiple friends to get it out. Could be fun messing around in the snow.

Yeah, they do not plow that in the winter. I think @js312 already said that. I tried going in there with my boy last winter. It was think and didn't want to risk with with him in there and no provisions. I would do it if it were just me though. :D Or with another vehicle (you).

js said they most likely plow snow mounds blocking off roaring brook. But theres still that little stretch up until schemerhorn. Im pretty sure thats not plowed, but it is not plowed shut either. Im just trying to think of good areas to test the capabilities safely. They dont plow the parking lot just up the hill from the pontoosuc boat ramp. I messed around in there last winter.

When I went, the start from Lee was not plowed in but mounded up. Easy to go over.
