Yes we do meet and greets as well as some trail runs. You may also want to look into joining the forums on ENH if you dont mind some travel to go wheeling.

I know this is a rabbit hole question, and there is already a lot of info on the forum about it but it is kinda like information overload for me. I'm looking for a good bang for your buck 2" lift all around, or something that'll give me good articulation with 265/75 16's on stock wheels. You guys have any recommendations? Thanks!

The biggest thing you need to focus on first is your budget. What are you looking to spend and what do you plan on doing with the lift? Mild offroad? Serious offroad? Just for looks? This will give us a better understanding of the lift you want.

I was thinking around 1.5k-2k or something reasonably around that. As for the capability, I would say mild offroad. Something that would be good for someone with zero wheeling experience, but that I will be able to do more with as I get more experience. I hope that makes sense.

Makes perfect sense. Are you planning on adding any weight? Armor? Sliders? Bumpers? Winch? How much weight do you plan on carrying around in the back?

Do you normally have weight in the bed or usually have the truck unloaded?

In the future, I'm looking at adding at least a winch with one of the low profile bumpers (not a full one), some skid plates, and maybe sliders. I'm a younger guy so I'll add as I go but I'm guessing it would be best to get a lift that would suit that added weight instead of having to change it as I go? I have a leer 100L or XL (I can't remember) camper shell on right now. I do some occasional hauling of tree rounds because I heat with wood (maybe 300lbs).

Personally, IMO, I would go with bilstein 5100 set up with Medium Dakar leaf springs in the rear. I would put OME 2885 coils in the 5100's up front. I would also get a carrier bearing drop and an ECGS bushing to replace the needle bearing. It is a good basic overall lift that is definitely within your budget and you can save some money for some more mods. If you add more weight in the future, you can upgrade the front spring coil and add an Add-a-leaf in the dakars to make them heavy.

For that price range, I'd consider the Bilstein 6112s amd 5160s out back, better ride than 5100s (but also more money) and dakar medium springs as well, but deavers would also be a good choice. If you wanted you could also get a set of SPC or JBA upper control arms to improve your alignments. At 2" you don't need UCAs per say, but they definitely would not hurt. @DrFunker has 6112s and was running 5100s before with a shell

I have this set up on my first gen, with the deavers. No cap on it, but do carry random crap in the bed quite a bit, some of it 500+ lbs easy. I have found the ride to be great, I haven't changed out the UCAs though, but I also am not off roading this thing really. Does good on hits on a crappy road though.
