What's the "road" that you hit on the left side that goes up the mountain? I was on rte 2 years ago and came to the town sign for Florida, took a left and went up this crazy road that dumps you on top of a large plateau with farms on it?

Insane ride up on a sportbike and an Asplundh truck coming down it at the same time!

Black Brook Road, crosses over to Savoy. It's currently closed, but being rebuilt after Irene. There are a few rights off that road that take you through Savoy State Forest. Tannery road takes you to Tannery Falls and balanced rock. Adams road is pretty boring. Raycraft rd on Florida Mt is a good one. Some lean to's, a lookout. I took my 08 from hoosac tunnel to Rowe on hoosac mt rd??? With relative ease, but doubt i could now with the longer wheelebase and Irene effect...

Those roads are great up there. Was up there a bit over the summer. The falls are very cool. Would love to get back in there at some point.

I've lived on Nantucket for 5 years now. I had my truck back that way for lift/wheels/tires last weekend, and I'm heading back to Florida MA tomorrow for the holiday. Funny, The second Quicksand tacoma showed up on the island yesterday. Guy told me he had to go all the way to North Adams (K&M Toyota) to get it. Small world.

Did it with some friends. Third Tacoma i've done. They generally take about three hours if you've got air, but with the upper control arms and extra OME leaf, this one took 4.5 hours

Beautiful! What tires you putting on them? Where did you order them/how much? (if you don't mind me asking)

I have some serious trails out here in the pioneer valley, plus too, if we have a meet, it is half way between auburn and pittsfield. I can send you a link to the Facebook page that we chronicle our 4x4 trips. The trail is a little overgrown so as long as people don't mind a possible scratch or two, it is the best place to go. It is at the top of Turkey Hill on the border of ludlow and belchertown.
