Side note, @Bannerman or anyone, do you know if there is a shop that rents/demos Kona? I’d like to try a process or the new HEI HEI if possible. If not I’ll probably do a tall boy or revel rascal from the hub.

The Hub is a Kona dealer but dont know what they have for demos. There are two shops in Asheville listed as dealers too.

Oh sweet, maybe I’ll give them a call. I didn’t see Kona are their website but I probably didn’t look close enough haha. Thanks

Big Kona ship here in Knoxville www.tnvalleybikes.com. You could probably reserve ahead of time and I could just bring it to you

Cool, and if you need a bike picked up/returned from one of those Asheville shops, let me know. Also if you interested in the Tallboy I bet @backcountryj might let you throw a leg over his if you buy him a beer.

Squatch Bike and Brews shows Kona Process 134 DL as a rental.
Hub shows most Santa Cruz offerings, Norco Optic and the Revel Rascal.
Sycamore Cycles covers Yeti SB130/140 and the Specs Stumpys.

So basically you could test out the Kona you asked about, or any number of killer offerings. Pretty reasonable rates at all shops.

Yea @113tac if you end up renting something other than the TB and still wanna give it a go, you're welcome to hop on mine for bit.

I'll just need your CC #, last four of your SS, and the keys to your truck as collateral.

They have a process 134 cr, I’ll dig around and see if there is anything local but I’ll keep this in mind, thanks!
True! I’ll be bringing a good amount of beer haha
Haha you got it! I’m leaning towards the rascal since it seems the easiest to get at the hub and I cant demo that anywhere else. I can probably demo a tallboy locally and possibly a Kona but right now I’m leaning towards one of the Kona’s to actually buy at some point. So I’d like to get some real riding in on one of the Kona’s. Tbh I’ll probably go with the easiest option haha

Hey! My chances are slim. And because of Covid complications I won’t know what I have to do work-wise in the trip timeframe till about the 15th. If you need to pull my plug, no harm or foul.

No worries, I don't need a firm yes or no, just want a headcount for the camp host. No problem keeping you as "tentative", hope it works out though!

I am unfortunately a "no" for camping :(. Boss's baby came early so he can't cover my projects for the weekend.

I hope to be out there for some riding Saturday if I can!
