That’s the hybrid style I’m liking most of the RTT. No clue if they're called hybrids.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I have decided to go this route for a couple reasons.

That place is kickass. It’s like 30mins from my house! I was very tempted to buy one of their XL demos, as it’s rare the XL are used up, but decided to throw down money locally in ga.

    Man....

    it was brutal.

I cannot climb on a bike, that’s a fact. I hiked a LOT. but the guys were all nice enough to put up with me or wait for me at spots and I appreciated that even though I kept telling them not to. I still got to ride everything we went to, just took me longer. But man the descents were phenomenal.

black mountain is amazing, especially lower black. Nothing else like it, well besides Bennett, basically the exact same trail..

Me too bro, I am 6’3 265lbs. No matter how ya dice it, I ain’t keepin’ up with people that way 100lbs less than me on the climbs.
All part of it, remember half of this is to get out there and push yourself. *Results may vary, but your doing it! The rest is enjoying yourself ;)

big shout out to @cgstclair though for being my riding buddy for the weekend, he held back a lot to hang out with me even when I was hiking and I appreciated it. such a good dude.

everyone was great though, and super nice for putting up with my fatass this weekend. I already miss being there!

Good Weekend Guys.... Super Fun Riding and Glad Mostly everyone came out unscathed - Speedy recovery to Jeff. I think the one thing we all learned is that basically every trail is kind of like Lower Black.

On another note ... I think Scotty, Chris, and Jonathan would really like Trace ... the climb up was little rough on Sunday morning but the DH is kind of like "lower black" but with a bit more visibility.
