I’ know this is pretty late but I’ was stalking the thread looking to see if I’ could find the owners of a few trucks I’ve recently seen around but I’ think there’s a black access cab with a topper then the guy your talking about possibly has a MGM 4 door with bumpers and a soft topper and I’ wanna say the rear bumper has a tire carrier I’ bought the old rear bumper off that truck from the guy when I’ still had my ‘06 and he had a Firestone shirt on when I’ met him at Ingles to get it. He posted in the tacomaworld Facebook group not to long ago trying to sale that topper and I’ spoke to him, haven’t seen the truck around fletcher for a while though wonder if he sold it. Also anyone know of a guy with a 05-11 MGM access cab SCS Stealth 6 wheels bumpers and rock sliders and a stock blue 3rd gen DCSB TRD OR seen it in the Ingles parking lot with a blue TW sticker in the back glass a few weeks ago

Not it matters but I live in arden. I think I know the guy you’re talking about though, works right there I’m the corner of long shoals and Hendersonville road. I’m back from school for a month. I live in arden and work at Lulu’s in fletcher. You’ll see my truck parked out back for the next month and the entire summer. TW sticker is on my toolbox

I’ usually stay around the house but I’m going to school at Blue Ridge right now and I’m gonna transfer at the end of next year. On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons there’s a good chance you can spot my truck in the back of Fletcher Ingles parking lot. It’s kinda a cool coincidence you work at Lulus because I’ almost stopped by yesterday to look around my dad used to work in that building when it was a car dealership when he was around my age

Nice, where you transferring to? I’m at WCU right now. Halfway through my sophomore year. That’s pretty cool, You’ll have to swing by sometime. It’s a helluva lot different from what sunshine Chevy, and Fletcher BMW has left it. Sunshine left that place a complete dump. After 8 months of just tearing down, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning, and renovating just the main level, it’s like brand new. Another 6 months and we had the downstairs open. If you see my truck, swing on by. Pretty good chance i’ll be there. Possibly be on pickup and deliveries. Probably working Tuesday or Wednesday for the rest of the week

Id like to transfer to UGA if I can manage to get accepted but most likely will end up going to either WCU or App, I still have no idea what I want to major in though. I seen a guy in Arden the other day in a DCSB in Barcelona red with SR8s also, SCS seems to be getting pretty popular around here.

Nice man. If you get to WCU, Tacoma’s everywhere. I’m an entrepreneurship and marketing major. Where’d you go to high school at? I’ve seen that the AVL overland 4runners have SCS wheels. I’ve been out of Asheville pretty much since August. I’ve been Home for the weekend every now and again but haven’t been here for a long enough period to see the other trucks with them. @DC-USAF has a set and they look good on his truck.

What exactly is AVL overland 4runners? Is it a company or just a group, this is the first I’ve heard of them. I went to West Henderson and I’m rarely in Asheville maybe once every few months I’ll end up over there for anything. Come summer time if we both can find some free time we oughta ride through Pisgah or I’m really wanting to hit this Hurricane Creek everyone seems to be talking about. I got a buddy I graduated with that has a Tacoma that’s currently going to UNC Asheville that may be down do go also.

They’re an overland group, on instagram. I gotcha, I know a bunch of people from west. I went to Roberson. I meant more of arden, that’s where I live. I try and stay away Asheville, lots of weirdos. Yeah man I’m game! It wouldn’t happen to be Luke Moffitt would it?

@kiahb12, @trdsport6, @Avery Worley, nice to see all of you guys going to school to better yourselves. Way back when I was your guy's ages I hated school so much I couldn't wait to graduate and be done with it..11 months after I graduated I was in San Antonio, TX wondering what the hell did I just sign up for. I did eventually get my equivalent of an Associates degree through the USAF before I retired.

Anyone know of some trails local to Hendersonville? I’ve heard my dad talking about taking his old ‘84 Toyota Pickup to I think he called it Couch mountain when he was in highschool and I heard old highschool math teacher talking about going to the same place when he was younger. I assume that’s been long closed to the public but I did google it and found some videos of some jeeps up there from a few years ago. I’ve rode through Pisgah a little bit going from the Mills River campground side, maybe if I go in from Brevard and get deep into it I can find something a little challenging. Kinda worried about getting lost though.

You shouldn't get lost. If you went from Mills River to Pisgah forest and then took a right the parkway is at the top of the mountain and if you took a left it brings you down to Brevard. Theres just not many places around Hendersonville to go any more since everyone decided to retire here and buy up all the land that we use to enjoy back in the good old days.
You might follow this thread. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/south-carolina-bs-and-gossip-thread.411211/unread. They are pretty active and they probably know of a few trails that are close to us.
