You should be fine if you need a tug it'll be like chestnut the guy in front will have a strap and give you a tug. Just make sure you and Rich both have a 4x4 in front of you. This trail should be more prerunner friendly. Also there aren't really any "campsites" so to speak this trail is a road used by the forest service, people who live on it, and rangers. @Dangerdave can fill you in more on all the idiosyncrasies since he's got some inside connections.

Yea. We are all meeting at 9:30am or so at the rest area and waiting for the group from ingles.
Unless you want to meet here on 25 (white horse rd) and we roll up together. I think you're coming this way anyway.

That’s what I’ve always thought. Im thinking I’ll be okay.

I’m about 3hrs to the rest area so I’ll just plan to leave at 6. Want to get there and make sure my cb is tuned and everything.

I am 7 miles from the trail head and we have had steady to heavy rain all week including today. Panther creek which looks to be a about the same size as Hurricane creek is at least a foot deeper this week and muddy.

I am going to pass on this trip and wait another time when its a bit drier to hit Hurricane. You guys have fun.

Yeah i meant steady thunderstorms on and off all week, most here have been pretty good amounts of rain.

Its weird up here in the gorge, rain tends to stick to the ridges,of course a few miles away it may not even rain much.

Might not be bad, then again it could be.I just know i had my driveway wash out 2-3 times this week.Just be prepared in case it is

Being a locked prerunner, I'd kinda like to be in the middle. With a 4x4 in front of me. I doubt I will need it. Already have a strap hooked up front.

    Any volunteers?

Adam will need a 4x4 in front of him as well.

Holler on 5 when you guys are a few miles away from the rest area so I can check signal strength.
I'll have my cobra on and a back-up uniden handheld.

I did not mean to contradict what you said. I just meant where I live.
    Yes, washouts. Gravel on roads.
The sides of our road are washing away just in the last few days.

Be prepared for lots of water.
I do not know the trail.

Welp, they just asked for OT at the last minute.
Unfortunately, I can't pass it up with the slow spell were looking at in the next couple months.
