That looks super dope. We have a wedding to go to out of state otherwise I’d make a conscious effort to go. Do they have that event every year?

Little trip up to max patch with a buddy of mine today, trail was perfect, just enough mud for fun, not enough to get stuck!

I was wondering if any of y’all might be able to help me out on this I just bought my truck 3 months ago it was already lifted but I was in such a rush to trade my Tahoe I didn’t check the frame .... Luckily I called dealership and it is still under frame recall warranty and was told to bring it in for inspection and pictures.... after driving 45 minutes to dealership I was informed I’d be given a answer in 48 hours due to the truck being lifted that if they replace the frame they could not put lift back on and I’d have to pay for factory wheels tires and all factory parts underneath out of my own pocket has anyone else had thisissue ?? My frame is horrible it’s rusted almost into on passenger side and if you grab the frame especially on the inside it breaks

Yeah unfortunately when you go with anything above a 3 inch lift, you can't ever go back, I know the rough country 6 inch involves cutting and modifying the cross members, which is part of your frame. So I would think you are probably going to have to buy new suspension components for a new frame.

If its not your daily driver you could have a welding shop fix up the bad spots on your frame

Thank you .... it is my daily I’ve had a few trucks patched but was really hoping on replacing this one without having to do away with my lift or without having to come out of pocket but it’s not looking like that’s gonna happen

Just pay them extra to add the lift to the new frame. Or you could have them return all your lift parts and then reinstall it when you get it back. Your new frame is going to come with a ton of new stuff. LCAs, Cam bolts, hard brake lines, front ABS, sensors, ~150 nuts and bolts, etc. I can't remember it all I just had mine done back in April the list is yuggggeeee on what they replace.

They haven’t gave me a answer on what they’ll do yet they said to give them 48 hours .... but they don’t want to do the lift cause you have to cut part of cross member to reinstall it that’s why they said if they do replace frame I will have to pay for factory wheels and factory parts underneath to put it back to factory height .....

It should have spacers on top of the struts just have to remove them, blocks in the rear remove those. The recall frame comes with a lot of stuff that they'll probably try to pin you to purchasing. My dealer here was very candid with me and informative on what they replaced how much toyota is reimbursing them etc. Let me know what they say. I can take a picture of my receipt from april if they are trying to get you to pay for anything that the new frame comes with.
