Afternoon all, I'm in Arden. On my 2nd 2nd generation Taco. 06 DCLB, SR5 4x4. Bought it from an old dude with 70,000 miles (notice the old man topper), and new frame replacement!!!!
Anyways, looking to do a 5100's or leveling kit up front. I only have 245's on my truck right now, and it eats my heart away. My old 07 had 265's stock, but no kit or anything.

I've heard so many ways to go. This my is family car, commute to work, weekend warrior truck. Don't want to change to much stuff, just a better stance, and a little more ground clearance. My mountain biking can take me into some tight spots.

Also, isn't there a off-road shop on Leicester Hwy? I swear I see some awesome rigs parked up there. Whats it called if I'm correct?

Pretty sure you just talking about Yellow Gap road (FS 1206). I think about 11 mile of gravel, takes you to the Pink Beds area. Definitely a fun drive, some good switch backs and brake bumps. Some good trails out there too, hiking and biking that aren't used too much. One of my favorite areas near AVL. Sampson Road outside of Boone has some serious moves on it though. Can't go wrong with anything in Wilson Creek really.

May have one after this weekend. Going to look at a 4x4 Tacoma that’s black so I may sell my mgm shell once I find a black one.

Edit: forgot someone asked me about it the other day and I have them first dibs. Sorry

Thanks, I’ll be checking out Sampson Rd. I think I might be buying a house near Boone. Can’t wait to check out the trails up around that way.

I’ve been to Diamondback off-road for some work in Swannanoa, They mainly work on Jeeps. I had my rock sliders and Tundra brakes put on there. I had to have someone remove one of the sliders and reattach it. Also my dust shield was rubbing pretty good after they worked on it. I’m going to check out OGRE in Pisgah Forest for the installation of my rear springs.
