Just assume everything you want to do in WNC is closed. Several sections of the Blue Ridge Parkway are closed. I saw more DNR/Park Ranger vehicles last weekend than I did all of last summer. Saw one officer walking through a remote gravel parking lot checking license plates and he asked myself and my friend where we're from.

If you don't live here stay home, or go to SC/GA/TN.

Uwharrie is closed. Fully get why, eager to open/use tent somewhere else than my back yard. Hopefully mid-late May.

    Cheers!

Ah, double check my on this before you drive out, but it's my understanding that URE "camp grounds" are closed. There is plenty of dispersed camping that should still be available.

Georgia is open for dispersed as well..
Pigeon Forge is opening up either this weekend or next for camping, cabins, and everything else I believe.

I got a Leer topper with a ladder rack and locking doors. It has a bracket bolted on that relocates your camera or unbolt it if you dont have one. Have the key to all doors. Really looking for 2nd gen tailgate and a little beer money for it. It is from a 2013 AC on Asheville area

Anyone got any good areas around buzzards roost to camp at? Looking like three trucks one with a trailer. The rest of us will be in RTT. Mainly looking for a camping spot with a good view. Looking for Friday and Saturday I was gonna do big creek but was told it is really packed and tents only

If y'all wanna run Hurricane Creek Rd, there's two camping spots that will fit your group. The trailer might be a challenge. The view would be of a creek though, not mountain vista. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/hurricane-creek.603300/

There might be some camping spots in the Harmon's Den/Max Patch area, but I can't remember.

Not sure is 105 is open back up but they have some good spots if I remember correctly. There are also some creekside spots that are fairly large of the Harmon Den Horse camp exit on I-40 just up from the hurricane creek entrance.

I believe Pisgah is open, just have to be off the road 1000’ (I believe). Too many rules! Roseboro Rd and surrounding areas were packed a couple weeks ago..

Some places are still closed like the Courthouse Falls area. At least it was last weekend.

Just drove around Crumpler/Grassy creek area. I hope I can buy a house up around that way some day...many roads are only 4WD accessible.
