I just bought the wheels for it yesterday. Wheels are perfect and tires about 50%.

About 10 seconds lol. The guy I bought them from had them on his gen 2 and was very meticulous. He purchased them from Toyota when he bought his truck. I always liked the look of them so when he traded his in and I knew I was getting mine I bought them. 50% tread and perfect wheels 900 bux, maybe a bit too much. They came with the lugs and gen 2 tpms which I can't use.

Are the gen 2 tpms worth anything?

HAHAHA! 10 seconds.....damn I am one indecisive sumbitch..... That's actually a decent price for those , I've seen them on ebay without TPMS and they are well over $1000, not sure if the 2nd Gen tpms are worth anything to a 3rd Gen owner, some of these cats on here may know.

I like OEM stuff on some things. I am from VAG world where they put some money into the components they use like Borbet, BBS, OZ, Brembo and so on. I don't like to pay for just looks and most people pay for just that. Sometimes you come across deals where they think the stuff is junk and blow money on way inferior replacements. I am all over that stuff!

But honestly, if someone would have had 16-17" black steelies for sale, ALL OVER IT! I spent a lot of time in Germany and that's what a lot of people run form the dealer. Just looks cool and pretty strong too. Blah blah blah

No doubt man, I do the same with my Harley, look for the best parts, brakes, bars, throttle induction, cams, etc....etc.... and hell yeah, I actually thought about plastidipping the steelies that came on my truck too ! Save me about $1200 and it don't look half bad ...to me anyhow!

My buddy down the road has a blast tank and powder coats. That's what I'd do, flat black!

Wexford here...SR5...2"/1" leveling kit (spacer/block) Level8 MK6 -10 offset...265-75-16...de-badged...tri fold soft tonneau and weather tech mats. Hauls my but around 3-4 times a week for Mountain biking and that's about it. Too busy for anything else the rest of the week. Had a 94 Yota for a few years then went full size until last Jan. Love this thing!
