most of the guys getting over 20 live south, when i was down there on vacation i got 27 mpg highway sadly around here i see a 18-19 average sometimes 20 if i really baby it. North hills toyota service is amazing, their sales department is a tad pushy.

    Hey everyone,
I grew up in Ohiopyle, live down in Va now but try and head up when I get a chance.
If you ever find stuff for sale down this way I'm more than willing to help deliver it out west, always good to meet new people.
Or go kayaking on the Lower Yough

As much and as often that I ride I have never ridden Moraine. I've heard it's technical & fun but bring your "A-Game"...

Definitely requires some serious concentration to not rip parts off you or your ride.

If mpg is a deciding point for you, you might as well get the Silverado. These things don't get any better mileage than domestic v8s at this point.

My tank averages are anywhere from 17.5-18.5

I think most full size trucks are in that ballpark if not better.

Pretty sure I have seen your truck at south park more than a few times... I ride there often when the trails are decent.

Anyways... figured I would say hello in this thread. I sadly do not have a tacoma at this time, but have been browsing this forum for reviews and such. Maybe I'll catch you riding down there sometime. I currently have a blue vw golf r.

Hey guys. I am going to look at 2 Tacoma's this week. I wanted to see if these are good deals as well as ask to see what dealership in Pittsburgh or within 50 miles gave you the best deal. Right now The best I have seen as a discount on the new 2017's is $2250 by Bob Massie. I know Rohric on 51 will match any PA competitor discount or beat it. Want to see if anyone got a bigger discount than that, or what you were able to negotiate in there.

Here are the two I am looking at:
    http://www.daytoyota.com/used/Toyota/2016-Toyota-Tacoma-6bfb36380a0e0adf3e0eb2a512ba8bce.htm
    http://www.prestonauto.com/inventor...trd-sport-4wd-4d-double-cab-3tmcz5an6gm034929

-The silver one has less miles and a cap (which I dont want so I can sell that)
-Both have the MAX options package
-However I can get a new 2017 (with no options) for the same price

Let me know what you guys think, thanks!

The silver one was made in Mexico if that matters to you.

If your looking to buy one your best bet is to buy new, now usually i would never say that i like to buy lightly owned that already depreciated however these trucks are only 1000-2000 less than what a brand new one is. I would shop around find a few dealers that have the truck and options that you want and good luck trying to get them to move off their prices lol

As stated I can get $2k off MSRP of any TRD on the lot at Rohric. They have the biggest selection in Pittsburgh form what I have seen. I like the used ones because they have the full options that I do value, such as heated seats, moonroof, better stereo, parking censors. I cannot afford a new one with those options. So it would be a trade off. Get a new one with no options, or get a used with with options. Just weighing those in my mind. Thats why I wanted to see if anyone has gotten more than $2k off new or who was able to work a better price on used.

I went to see the blue one at DAY Toyota. It was custom ordered without a tow package! I didnt even pick up on that form the pics. I was like wtf? Sales guy said it was a rental and rental fleets dont offer trucks with tow hitches. He also said they were not budging on the price by any means.

Called on the silver one too. The sales guy said they should expect it sold by this weekend and they are not budging on the price. He was pretty smart with me when I asked him if there was any negotiating to be done. So I said goodbye.

Basically If i get a Taco it'll be a new one from Rohric. The sales guy at DAY told me I would be lucky to get $1250 off a new 17'. I laughed.....

You are much better going new even if you have to wait a little longer to save a few extra bucks
