How does you bumper guard mount?

 

To the crash bar bolts!

 

Have you had any rust issues?

 

Not familiar with those. Are they similar to the factory/OEM step bar bolt mounting threaded cavities?

 

Not too much, it's got a few Knicks but I bought it used but it's held up well!

 

No one has been on this thread in almost a year but here goes! Any recommendations on a shop to install 4.88 gears in the Pittsburgh or north area?

 

I’ve been wondering about this as well. On one hand every little bit helps. On the other hand, I just traded in my 2007 FJ that spent its entire life outside in Western PA and there were no concerning rust areas on the undercarriage. And I barely ever washed it let alone undercoat it.

born and grew up for the better part of 50+ years in Pittsburgh, moved south a couple years ago through Westinghouse, then the plant shut down in Columbia SC, and now live in Wilmington, NC...miss the hills and snow but still get back a couple times a year to see family & hunt...

 

mine's a SR5 that is identical and soon to have 265-75/16 wildpeaks...looks great, think I am taking the lower air dam off when I get the new tires.

 

Grew up in SW Pa.... living in Va. now... get back to visit family, fish and hunt a few times a year.
