I bought a Westin Sportsman Brush Guard for my 06 tacoma a few years ago.
    It's never been very solid.
Within a 6 months, one of the brackets (the one that goes from the middle of the uprights into the the gap in the bumper where the lisence plate goes) broke at the hole attached to the truck's frame.
I went back to my dealer and he said he would get a hold of Westin. After nearly a dozen phone calls to the dealer who said they wouldn't sell him just the bracket. I tried calling Westin directly but they refused to deal with me stating that I had to go through my dealer. I asked if I could just get them to commit to selling just this part to the dealer and they said no.
I ended up taking the part off, cutting it, bending it, and drilling a new hole but it didn't do much.
The brushguard constantly shakes, I should take it off, but I like the way it looks.
I haven't tried customer service again recently but don't feel like wasting my time.
Anyone have a bracket they'd sell or any ideas on how to stiffen this thing up?
