I am thinking about ordering a set of Westin pro Traxx 5 inch stainless side steps for my 2015 Tacoma Trd Dual cab 6 foot. I like the idea of the welded end caps and the slight bend at each end.
I was wondering if anyone has them and what their thoughts are on the product. I will probably order them this week so I would like to hear any pros or cons about them.
Also are they a "snug" fit to the rocker. I don't want them to hang too low. Most side shots are hard to tell. I want to hide the side frame from view.

im looking for the same look with my Black Pro dbl cab, OEM tube steps hang high, but i like the curved end look, been looking at pictures for weeks and still cant make up my mind, just added wet okoles to the front seats , weather tech mats, now i want tube steps

I just installed a set of Ionic 5" steps on my White TRD Sport DCLB. ABS construction over an aluminum frame with curved ends. Fits nicely and I like the fact that it will never rust. I bought the matte black but there is a stainless option available.

Not too low, but a little lower than OEM from what I can see.

Installation instructions stated you could mount them higher up to the rocker panel. I didn't look to see how. I would be afraid the steps would be too close to the body. I didn't want something low either, but these will act as a heavy duty door edge guard too...

Gee guys I hate to horn in on MY thread, but I was asking about the Westin side steps. Anyone have experience with them.

Not a problem. I am looking at stainless with the welded ends. Not real excited by rubber or plastic caps. When they sell replacements what does that tell you?

Got them locally for a great price with free shipping. 1 hour installation and they look good.
