I might have missed it. Was the A/C drain in fact clear?

These two 10mm boots were a bit loose (don’t know why) but i sprayed them with some simple green (for color) and wouldn’t ya know, it leaked into the floor board of the passenger side of my rig.

I ran out and checked mine. I have a bolt in each of those holes and they seem tight. Damn it! I'm gonna pull the tire off tomorrow and get in there and double check.

@Bagman gave them a hand tightening and sprayed the inside with some flex seal. Gonna buy some black flex seal for the outside.

Another guy here had that bolt missing. He put in another one and his water problem was solved. I don't think my '13 had those bolts, I looked for them. I'm not sure what they fastened.

I already have a can of that stuff. I'll see if I can tighten them any then spray the crap out of 'em inside and out. I'll try anything at this point.

I knew a guy that had a Jeep CJ type in the mid-eighties that had such bad leaks in the floors that the dealer sent it out to have the whole belly heavily undercoated. That isn't the case here but that bolt has to be in there or the water will come right through and soak the carpet.

    W. Edwards Deming would be rolling in his grave if he saw some of the quality related posts on this forum.....

I would not close my mind to the other causes. I had two, the cowl gasket and the rear window gasket

20190204_191239.jpg One thing I haven't seen mentioned in this thread is cleaning out the space between the inner-fender and outer fender. Don't have a great pic but there's a little rubber flap covering it. Just below the front door hinge. Leaves and junk get trapped in there and I'm told, could be a cause for water inside. Move the rubber flap to the side and see what's in there.

Also, what about this rubber seal on the floor. Mine seems tight but I may just silicone that sucker as well.

I just washed the salt off yesterday Bagman. That lower fender was loaded with road debris and I flushed it out with the hose. I'm not sure it will leak in but it will rot the fender bottom.

You could seal that plug for peace of mind but it probably is ok.

This issue is driving me crazy! I have checked and sealed alot of the areas mentioned. I do have to seal or replace my cowl. The windshield was replaced by a previous owner. I don't believe it's coming from the cowl. Because the A C Filter and blower motor is dry when I check it.

I’m having the same issue i thought i fixed. I’m thinking it’s the windshield seal. Or the door trim. I’m seeing water over the speaker door panel

If your seeing water over the speaker, I would think it's the door seal. Mine is coming from behind the kick panel and pudding right under the kick panel. That is why I don't understand how it could be the cowl seal !?!?

I'm in the same boat (pun intended). I've sealed everything that everyone told me to. Still damp on the passenger side. Once it gets warmer out, I'm going to pull the carpet back and have someone run the hose over the truck until I see water coming in. I don't know what else to do at this point.

Mine was leaking in the floor. It was actually doing it the whole time it was on the lot before I bought it.
I witnessed the water fall out of the pillar handle.
I removed the Toyota roof rack and re-sealed it with silicone. I haven't noticed it leaking since.

I hear you brother. I am at a loss. I am thinking of replacing my cowl being the windshield as been replaced just to rule that out.
