Hello all. 2007 Tacoma owner here.

For about a year I've been having an issue with wet floorboard carpet, but I notice it only after a heavy rain. It's always parked on level ground.

I've been leaving the plastic trimpanels and thresholds out of the truck so that I can easily lift up the carpet to let it dry. I'm really tired of this problem, but I cannot find where it's leaking from. If it helps to diagnose, the passenger side gets probably twice as wet as the driver's side.

    Thanks in advance.

Turn your blower on high (recirc off), close the windows and doors, and go around the windshield and roof rack seals with soapy water.

I’ve been having something similar for months.

Found out it was a crack in the body weld, where the bottom of the A pillar intersects with the floor and the fire wall.
From the outside perspective it was the wheel well.

Had to peel out the floor liner and the fire wall insulation from the inside.

    Check Gromets.
Check if you see daylight from inside the cab.
When it rains put your hand in very awkward places and feel your way down. Till you feel the wet spot.
(Yeah reading back that sounded better in my head)

I’ll post some photos of it tonight of my problem.
