My son just picked up his seat covers from WO here on Oahu and the installation was not free because it was bought online. Cost to install $50, so he says that we will do the install ourselves. The employee who worked there said to be careful so we don't set the airbags off. Are there airbags we need to beware of? Sounded like BS to me but correct me if I'm wrong. Tks TW

There are airbags in the sides of the seat back. Usually there is a little tab on the outside of the seat.

Wires under seat for airbags have yellow connectors, just be careful around them. I did my own after they quoted me the same. Not hard, just takes some time go slow no rush you be fine.

Lift? Yea I got one of those
Shoots I bought another set a short while back and did my own install, was all good. Just the wires under the seats, but I made sure I had a light and didn't pull or attach the back hook on any wires.

Thanks for the reply TW, it's good to ask first and be sure that something simple does not turn into clusterFK. Mahalo

I've installed WOs twice (in second and third gen). While it wasn't the worst experience I've ever had I would gladly pay someone who is an expert at it $50 to do it for me.
