ok...so I told my wife I was ordering the covers..she say cool because she knows my seats are getting trashed just from sweat when I go to the gym each day... Yesterday she see's the amount charged to the card...

 

So...how comfortable was your couch last night?

LOL... no couch for me.... Her fury lasts about 10 minutes...I gotta say in her defense she does have the patience of Job... She has to being married to me?

are you guys going to do the install yourself or have it done for you? I would like to give it a shot but I dont feel comfortable removing the seats.

 

Removing the seats is a piece of cake, but given that I live in an apartment, I will be attempting to install them without removing the seats.

I may end up enlisting the girlfriend if I end up not being able to get the straps run cleanly enough with my bear hands.

I have faith you can do it. I got both of my fronts in-One removed the seat and one I didn't.
The rears in my AC-I had to pull off the back wall of the cab to tuck everything in-But that was easy.

 

That's good to know. I'm such a damn neat freak. It will probably take me 7.5 hours to put them on...and that's after I let the covers air out, I condition them, etc...

How hard was it leaving the seats in vs pulling it out?

I searched but found no instructions for removing the front seats. I am assuming 4 bolts, and disconnect the sensor wire? Is that it?

Do we need to take apart the center console for that cover, or does it just slip right on?

 

to pull the seats, remove the headreasts (give you more clearance when taking them out), remove the 4 bolts, lean seat back and disconnect the connectors (3 under driver, 2 under passenger) and that's it. taking them out also allows you to neatly bundle up the excess strap. from start to finish it took me about an hour (front seats only) once I decided to take the seats out.

 

just called in just in time to add the "toyota racing development TRD" logo, glad I added it cause I ordered plain black covers originally so now I'll have a little detail in it.

 

I called back and changed my order.

I imagine it will be next year before they do another one. They got 96 orders out of this one so they will be filling these orders until well into November I would imagine.

They're only $20, have you tried just calling them directly?

Or, find somebody on here that is doing the Group Buy that doesn't want the console cover and offer to buy it for $15?

I emailed wet okle, but never got a response. I didnt know they sold them seperately.

 

Just call them up. They answered my call in like .00002 rings.

Just ordered a few mins ago. Front and rear. No piping, light gray color. TRD Toyota Racing Development Logo in black. Seat heaters for both front seats. Can't wait to receive them!
