Damnit! They tried to deliver my covers yesterday but I wasn't home. I wish they could've just left them on the porch. Now I've got to go pick them up at a Fed EX store cuz I don't want to wait and see if I just happen to be home when they stop by.

I'm struggling to get the single horizontal strap in place on my install. Anybody have any tips on how to get the strap through the plastic molding on the door side and where to put the strap on the interior side?

I removed the black clip and just slid the black strap through the plastic part on the door side. I used a stiff piece of copper wire to help guide it through. That plastic piece also pops off, but you dont need to remove it.

For the strap that goes between the seat and the center console I left the black clip on (as you dont need to go through any plastic) and just drop it straight down between the console and the seat. There was a nice little hole to drop it through right behind the seat belt buckle. I used the wire to help guide and slightly push it through.

If you are having some trouble, try sliding the seat all the way back or forward and it will give you a few different options .. some may be easier to work with.

Another tip with these straps is make them super loose, so you dont need to stretch them while under the seat. Once they are clipped together then you can yank the strap and tighten them. I fought with them for 5 minutes trying to stretch and make a tight fit then I realized you can just tighten them after you clipped them. Hope this helps.

Yeah but truthfully when I go look at mine, I don't think they would be able to fit into a pocket even if there was one. With the extra thickness of the neoprene, mine don't have much wiggle room. I do miss the holders a little when I'm trying to lift up the seat and put it back down but I've kind of taught myself to hold the belt buckles between the seat backs when I put the seat bottom back down.

Yeah - I think I will just stick with my plan of leaving them underneath the seat until the rare occasions comes that somebody rides back there.

    Covers get here tomorrow!!

Thanks for the help but I just said screw it and took out my seats and took off the molding. I'm really glad I did. After that it weant much quicker and I was able to get my seats on much tighter. Man they look awesome! Way better than stock.

Woohoo! Got em! Airing them out in the -7 degree cold should do the trick before the install tomorrow! Pics to come then.

@Higear - Do you front seat armrests have Wet Okole covers on them? I'm referring to the ones that rotate up or down... It's hard to tell from the pic.

I am a little disappointed that you posted this pic. You are making me totally jelly that I didn't pull the trigger with the two-toned graphic. DAMN YOU!!! They look awesome though

For those of you that treated them with the UV Protectant - did you do this before or after you installed them?

Mine have been airing out for almost 24 hours now and damn am I glad I did - the smell has filled our apartment.

I did it after install because I had them installed at WO. The smell isn't THAT bad...big ol' babies. It did give me headaches on the first drive home though.
