How have they held up for 1+ years? Any advice on keeping them in good shape?

Had them on my first Gen over two years now. I run tube doors 10/12 months a year and they’ve held up great, no fading. Truck isn’t my DD though

Have had mine on my 2017 for almost 5yrs and they still look brand new. I keep them vacuumed and wipe them down with a wet rag occasionally and that seems to work well. I've never spilled anything on them that I've need to clean up except water.

How well do these things breathe? For reference, I think leather sucks as seat material because of how poorly it breathes.

Got them on my FJ front seats; rock solid product.

PS: my wife does complain that they are a little warm during the summer months.

To me they're fine in hot weather. I doubt I could tell the difference between how hot they are compared to my seats without them...I bet it's negligible and most couldn't tell. When I go to the range on hot days I wear a long sleeve shirt....am I really that much hotter? Not really, hot is hot, but I get better protection. To me the seat covers are the same concept. Just one man's opinion tho.

Sir….. please post photos of your lovely tube door beast. Make sure we can see the seat covers to keep it on topic.

I had them on my 4Runner for 6 years then transferred them to my 2019 Tacoma. They hold up quite well being 8 years old.

I've had mine on the taco for about 2 1/2 years. They hold up well, but the piping is starting to wear a little from where I slide in every day. I have the light gray color for the middle sections of the covers...they pick up dirt pretty easily If you're doing a lot of active stuff. I had the neon green seat covers in my Wrangler years back--those got pretty nasty, but I never washed them. They'll also pick up a bit of a funky smell if you're getting in sweaty a lot. They hold a good amount of heat, but not nearly as bad as leather.

I pull my seat covers off at the end of every winter and summer to wash them. I have a frontloader washer with no agitator...throw the seat covers in on gentle cycle with wet suit shampoo and they clean right up.

    Highly recommend.

I had them on my 2nd gen for about 10 years. It’s a 2010 that my teenage daughter drives now. She took them off in favor of some clazzio’s earlier this year.

they held up well. The side piping was pretty worn but overall they still looked good. The seats beneath them were in excellent condition

That’s nice. How do you keep the seat clean seeing as they probably absorb a lot of dirt?

Typically just blast my entire interior with an air compressor every time I go wheeling. I’ll just scrape big chunks of mud off with the nozzle. It’s probably still trapping dirt but keeps em looking fine

They hold up extremely well. Just forgo the piping if you haven't already ordered and they'll probably still be in your truck the day you bid it goodbye.

I have the side airbags on the fronts seats. When buying the seat covers did you have this marked?

    Know the owner quite well.
I've had them on seven vehicles now.
He always told me just get all black they last the longest.

Unlike other colors, black neoprene contains 'carbon black' a pigment and UV inhibitor.

So it only protects against fading?
