    Sad but glad I didn’t go, my shitty diesel would likely not have started in those temps.

    would have been a fun winter camp in those temps, good thing my new $900 sleeping bag is sitting doing fuck all ffs!!!

    Nothing went as expected, Worth doing? 2023 all the way this time and much better prepared. How many days? well counting friday as a full day to drive up we need friday
    -saturday to moosonee and camp on the james bay road
    -sunday- to attawapiscat and camp
    monday-back to camping spot on james bay road and camp
    tuesday drive to moose motel and motel it
    and return wednesday.

    so need a week off 1000 bucks (if you break you phone):) and a week you'll never forget

    my compressor failed neproane hoses and rubber orings dont like -30
    my diesel heater battery went dead
    propane stove and butane stove did not want to flow heated cylinder and tube up by fire
    not proper boots or gloves
    food preperation at -30, bbq might not be such a good idea
    our saving grace, there was not much wind...
