I’m a poor as well but have a clone HK-91 made by PTR in South Carolina (I think). They bought the original HK tooling and built these with newer manufacturing processes. Haven’t shot it yet. Got 20 mags with it when I bought it. I’ll get some pics of it when I get home.

Bought the SP5 last April, liked it so much I bought a SP5K last June.

Scored a A3F stock a few days ago, received it this past Friday. I like the A2 stock best, but love the compactness of the A3F. Would have rather got the old style A3, but their hard to come by and ain't cheap.

UMP (USA civilian) - so the story behind this build is, the upper is an Omega, everything else is off a real UMP. I happen to catch wind that they were going to start molding these about 5 years ago and you could build your own semi auto UMP from de-miled parts. They were going to be a limited run, which they were, until Tommy bostic started making his shortly after. So I ordered the upper (which is the FFL item on the UMP)..and then started to hunt for the de-mil parts on on gun broker and HKparts,etc...the bolt as the hardest to find and that had to be machined to fire semi(which tommy did for me). The lower is a FBI semi/2 position, but it has the auto internals epoxied for good measure. I had the front barrel threaded for a suppressor. Its unique, It big, its lightweight(its all plastic except for the bolt & barrel), it gets lot of attention. The front is very ergonomic, but he stock is awkward. Its clumsy, has a heavy clunky trigger, slow cycling, its accurate out to 100yds, but it was a fun build since I had no knowledge of HKs, it took a lot of research, searching for parts, and chatting with other builders for over a year to complete and was a satisfying project.

this is an h&k thread. clones are not h&ks, they are made by other manufacturers. but that was a good question.

I am shocked I haven't been called out by an HK snob for my UMP being a "half breed".
