first off, you cannot murder a whale, murder is a term reserved for the specific crime of killing another human being.

I think its good to preserve animals, but doing what they do is not good for the cause. Animals were also put here in earth to be eaten , but when you do it on a scale like how the whalers do. It causes extension of a species that's been around for 40 million years will piss people off. IMO what they are doing is a waste of money and a bad investment. Ramming ships and boarding them is extremely dangerous and will harm or kill people.

It is a funny show to me... I root for the Japanese only because I think Watson (and the other eco-nazis) are a mental case... I like watching the show for laughs at how much celeb money is going to waste on the Sea Shepards... They could pay the Japanese to not eat whales with that money instead of the crazy stuff the Sea Shepards do. I can't get the mrs. to watch it anymore, she thinks it is stupid... Of course, she is right!

 

They don't care though dude. These whack jobs have such a hard-on for saving the whales that they have a total disregard for human life. They wear beanies that say "Prepare To Ram", and Bill Watson proudly desplayes, on the front of his wheelhouse, the flags of the ships he has sunk. Yet when the whalers plow over the Ady Gill and sideswipe the Bob Barker, these Eco-Terrorists throw a big fit about it and get pissed when the whalers aren't held accountable. But when they ram, board, destroy, or anything else to the whalers ships, they dont want to get in trouble for shit because "they're doing the right thing"... That's the problem with how liberals think, they have such a double standard on everything they do.

I'm an avid hunter myself. But it's one thing to slaughter animals with healthy numbers. It's a complete difference against animals near extinction. Which some of the whale species they are killing are.

 

The Japanese only hunt the Minke whale which is no where near extinction.

I personally believe that the actions of Paul Watson and his ragtag group of eco-terrorists is a bit extreme. I think he should be held accountable for his actions out at sea and for putting human lives at risk.

 

Actually that is false. Maybe you should do some research.
Their largest quota is the Minke whale, and I see no problem killing them, because as you said are no where near extinction. They have a small quota for the endangered Fin Whales which is what my comment was towards.

Way wouldn't the japs hunt whales, its like using every other natural recourse, and way would the hunt theme to extinction an ruin that resource, that makes no sense.

 

I made a thread on the fact that no matter how wrong it is they are doing what they are doing legally! And there are people over stepping their bounds to stop them in an illegal manner, acting as pirates and boarding ships! I am not for the over hunting of the whales the way they do it but none the less these people are committing crimes. There are tons of people that don't agree with the way Americans do things but if they attacked us for it we would respond with aggression in such a case. So your saying breaking the law for your reason is ok but them breaking the law is wrong? Who knows dick???
