or to keep their camping stuff dry, or tools safe. I kinda like to be able to have my dog in the back seat so I can have my McDonald's up front without being eating

Hope the sarcasm traveled over :D

my brother has a 92 toyota standard cab, and I could never have if as my primary vehicle. but it is crazy to think that's where toyota really founded it mini truck name, is in the old standard cab trucks.

    Uh, a tool box
This, I have a reg cab with a tool box in the bed to haul stuff I don't want to get wet. Its a just a small PITA to remove the tool box, two bolts, then I have a bed bigger than most of these stupid short bed crew cab trucks.

Main thing is if you are more than 6' or 6'1" tall, you probably are not going to like my reg cab truck. It has enough leg room if you click the seat all the way back. I have some 6x9 speakers behind the seat, you can maybe get the seat back one or two more clicks from where I have it set for my 5'6" height. Thing is if you are tall there is no way to put speakers, or a sub, or anything behind that rear seat. I store all kinds of junk, rags, rope, bungee cords, speakers, jumper cables, and a few tools behind the seat, because I don't have to move it all the way back.

I am 6’1” but will see how it fits when I test it out this weekend. He dropped the price to 5900 so it’s getting better. Just need a reliable truck to get to and from work nothing more.
