    Curious if anyone has removed their bolt-on sliders and found any rust in between the frame and slider. Seems like a place where moisture and/or salt could sit.

    Yup. I did when I removed my sliders. They had been on for about 1.5-2 years. The outline of each mounting spot was clearly visible on the frame and there was surface rust in every spot.

    Next time, I would spray a lot of fluid film into the mounting spots, between the slider and the frame. Alternatively, consider "sealing" the gaps/openings with some kind of flexible, but waterproof sealant.
