I have the Caliraised mount set up and a 14 inch bar in the hood scoop. I really like it! I got a cheaper 32 inch light bar off Amazon but it still gets the job done. Now I can turn night into day!

It was a little painful to install the bar once the brackets are in. Doable, it’s just a tight fit. I elected to keep the plastic side panels and trim them to fit with the mounting brackets. I saw a YouTube video for installing them where they just took the plastic out and left it out.

Looks like the Diode Dynamics kit keeps the plastic shields in place where the Caliraised removes them. Is this correct?

not sure on the diode dynamics. On the CaliRaised the install shows to remove them, but I am doing the same as a lot of others and just trimming them to keep them in place.

Cali raised is probably the best for brackets. I somehow screwed up the installation so now the drivers side of the lightbar hangs a bit lower

Diode dynamics is 2" shorter than the cali raised, so no modification needed for install. At least that's my understanding... I ordered from diode dynamics, it should be here next week!!

I can confirm, it fits without any modification to the plastic shields. Great install instructions on their website.

I have the Cali raised light bar set up but had to remove it when I installed a sso slimline bumper with winch. I then had to buy the behind the grill brackets from Cali raised. I was happy with the brackets and light bar. I don’t know who has the better light bar but i am using the Cali raised light bar and just installed the diode dynamics ss3 fog lights.

I've got the Baja Designs Onyx 6 mounted in my front bumper, and a Rigid Industries bar in the grill. They both do a great job of lighting up everything in my path. The only difference I could tell is the Onyx 6 uses a LOT more power and was overheating my Bantam S Pod. I had to split the load between 2 switches in order not to go into thermal shutdown mode.

I bought the combo without any real logic. I know it's the brightest thing I've ever seen. Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of them on a road ..

I don't know if it's the way they are mounted, but there a lot of jackasses that blind oncoming drivers in my area. "OOOH, I've got BIG lights". These are for off road only IMO.

I hate to go cheap and don’t like to reward companies who rip off the designs of others, so normally I’d buy Baja Designs, but for this leased truck I was looking at Diode Dynamics Squadron rip offs for the fogs and their 30” hidden bar. I also need to find a set of small pods for the rear bumper.

My Dodge truck was all Rigid’s when they still made them in AZ, my Raptor was going to be all Baja Designs before I sold it.

Diode Dynamics is sitting in the basement but now I put the full SSO bumper on I'm not sure it'll fit in there or be blocked by the hoop.
