Hey. Do you have any condensation issues with your SpartanX lights? My scoop light was replaced once and it's already full of water a week later.

I always hate posting, because I feel like it's going to be met with "use the search" or "there are plenty of threads about this" lol. But I've read quite a few for weeks now and am basically just looking for opinions and experience.

I have a 2014 access cab that was pretty much base. I added the backup camera, intermittent wipers, and cruise control (that were all plug and play). I've done several other things. But I'm wanting to add the in-grill light bar, as well as fogs (and I feel like I eventually want to swap out/upgrade the headlights/tail lights, too).

My main questions now are what you'd recommend for the front light bar (brand/model) and fogs (brand/model/color).

Fogs are for practical use in the morning hazy/foggy drives which are fairly frequent (as well as when it snows). Light bar is for extra light in off road situations (back country roads, extra light at the campsite if I need to see further, or late night/early morning driving if it just so happens to be void of any other traffic).

I like what someone else posted earlier about wanting to give money to a good brand who puts in effort and also not wanting to overpay.

Thanks in advance for any input you can share.

edit: I see that this is in the 3rd gen forum (lol), but it has one of the most recent dates listed with replies which was why I posted here (since newer stuff may have hit the market or people may have changed their minds after years of running whatever they chose).

This is my opinion on the light bar but @Diode Dynamics makes the best. I run a 30" stealth combo bar using their brackets and am very pleased with performance, price and warranty.

As for Fogs, the clear leader is @Diode Dynamics SS3 Fogs. I run the Sports in selective yellow and am very pleased with them per the same reasons mentioned above.

You can read for yourself, related to fogs, in the below thread by our resident expert @crashnburn80

Donut media recently made a video comparing cheap light bars to expensive light bars. You can find that on Youtube.

Spoiler: The answer from a cost/value perspective likely lies in the middle range light bars.

Too much to name for this little space
Man feels like a lifetime ago when I sent that message.. I personally went with the Fab Fours Vengeance Full-Width Bumper with Light Bar cut out instead of winch line. In hindsight, it's a fantastic choice for mall-crawling and looks mean but I really wish I opted for a hybrid bumper instead to get the light bar AND a winch because I don't mall crawl. It's a nice bumper, easy to install, only 60 lbs heavier than stock (full 3/16" steel bumpers are hundreds lbs over stock) but still wish I'd go for the winch in the front

What is the actual length of the 30" Diode Dynamics light bar that comes with their stealth mount kit? Is it actually a 32" housing with 30 inches of lights?

Disregard. I found the dimensions. I am wondering if a different brand will fit well if it is 31.5" versus the Diode Dynamics that measures 31". Do the brackets allow for another 1/2" in tolerance or will it be a pain? Surely someone has used these brackets with an alternate brand of light bar. I won't use the light bar often enough to justify the cost of the DD. It is nice though.
