so i finally found one nice & smooth stretch of fresh asphalt on i80 going in Iowa (NO BUMPS NO NOTHING)
just so silky smooth 5 wide open lanes across the river
finally got a good place to further diagnose and experiment the gremlin rattle and i let the cat out the bag for a good thrashing

i did not like the experience when i was topping 90mph

I just hit 190k a couple of weeks ago. If I had to guess, there's probably 190k on the fuel filter as well. Whoever owned my pickup before I bought it didn't keep up with routine maintenance at all. Front and rear diff oil was pitch black and there were metal bits at the drain plug (magnetic), had to have been the same spark plugs, boots, and wires -- you get the picture. And no, I've never ran a cleaner.

What an absolute pain in the dick. No thank you. Just get the bottles to pour in the tank, have them professionally rebuilt and replace.
    What’s your time worth??

I do all my own work, right down to transmission and engine rebuilds. Takes all of 10mins to use that tool on a couple injectors and diluted shit in the gas tank is way less effective. If they're far enough gone I'll send em out. What's your money worth??

You’re right these trucks get hairy but I’ve had it pass 110 for an hour straight lol. It wasn’t for the faint, my streetbike gets to 160 in seconds so speed doesn’t scare me as long as I don’t put anybody else at risk, I don’t really have a death wish I swear. I was trying to blow my engine but no dice lmfao.

When they don’t make a fast sowing machine sound, it’s about time, it’s about every year, but I stretch it to three, the truck will start getting quicker as it leans ea bank. I don’t mind popping the manifold off but when I get my charger I will switch to custom made injection from Supra made at R/C.Those injectors are more stout, I am gonna have them paint them to look stock for smog.

So when there’s no clicking, that means they are dirty or what?
Why does the sound stop? What is the actually clicking from?

ya i don't go that fast anymore, most likely because I do not trust the road conditions around here, most are not even safe to travel at the posted highway speed limit especially if somebody is yapping on their cell with one hand on the wheel and loses control of their vehicle over these highway potholed chunks on darn near every expansion joint with no warnings posted.
it was just nice to get out on a silky smooth spot and get it going to test the handling of these newer tires so I know what I have going on.

my truck has never had this sort of feel under my feet before (vibration not noticeable on a bumpy noisy road), I am going to have to get the balancing checked again on the wheels, I though they just checked them about 3k miles ago  ... mechanic wants me to pork over $75 for a damn safety inspection which rubbed me the wrong way i tell ya, and I cannot troubleshoot this problem going that fast.

if you have ever driven on the German autobahn maxing a 4cyl out at near 130mph and just getting passed by an Audi with a carfull of kids on their way to football 'soccer' like you were standing still, that is something makes your jaw drop

The clicking is from clean pintels seating as they close and open, when new they have no cushion from gas sludge, the sound goes away as combustion dirties the ports on the fuel injectors and creeps it’s way into the injectors which at R/C they are cleaning the inside of the injector body and throwing aside you’re old pintels and caps to send back to you with a printout as evidence. Mine I always number to the cylinders. I write 1/3/5 on pass ones and 2/4/6 on drivers side and put em back exactly where they go, I always have 1-2 that are leaking/dribbling and some aren’t spraying enough to match. When I get em back they are +/- about ten points but they match them close to that of a drag car. These guys impress me with the custom injectors they make for the Toyota mkt and they have placks of the worlds fastest Supra land speed records. My truck uses the gas better and keeps the engine in perfect running temp, being as gas cools, and I have the throttle response of a brand new truck off the lot. My only gripe is you are supposed to put em in within 24 hours ,they haven’t elaborated on this

First, where is the link to R/C's website?
Second. My 2004 RC 4X4 is just fine for extended driving at 80-90 mph. I don't do it except once a year though in states that have 75-80 mph speed limits and never hold it above 85 unless I have to pass. 100 mph is fine with a Taco even on rough stretches of interstate. At least mine is and everything is original except for the OME fronts and the OME rear shocks with Deaver J-59's. Just not with the factory suspension.

while waiting to get my oil changed at Kari Toyota in Superior WI on Monday I was checking out the brochures of services they offer and one was the BG total fuel cleaning/induction service. I inquired about their price and was amazed they charge nearly $100 less than my local dealer, if this is the same exact service WTH
not sure if this is causing the recent noticeable morning start-up sluggishness or perhaps the fuel filter is getting clogged.
I stop at the gas station for coffee, turn the engine off, come back out with a piping hot caffeine dream, start it back up and away we go with all the pep and spunk and like nothing ever was wrong o_O

any idea when the last time your fuel filter was changed to a new one?

i don't floor it but it is exactly like you say
what might be the cause of this, when you turn it off and back on whatever it stops (very confused is this normal?)

peeled out WOT lol ... i cannot say i have ever peeled mine out (on purpose) might have on a hill a time or two letting clutch out not properly
