Think I can sell my badge?

It doesn't annoy me if I make profit.

I'd probably have to vote for the turn signal delete mod

Thanks for noticing that Rick! On a serious note, I can’t believe it’s been 20 years already. I’ll never forget getting ready to go to work that morning and watching those planes hit. Then watching it all day on the TV at the firehouse. A bunch of us bought tickets and took our gear to go help in NYC where we were welcomed with open arms but nothing we could really do but be supportive. What I really wanted to do is what our SEAL team eventually ended up doing! :oldglory::infantry:

Thank you. For the life of me no one can give me an answer as to why it’s necessary.
All I get is “so water doesn’t drip on the frame and rust it”

Toyota has a bit of a black eye with rust issues. If 20cents worth of tubing would help in any way, they are smart enough to make that a standard fix.
Secondly any water drips get sprayed back from wind as soon as they leave the hose. Doesnt matter if it 4” or 8”. Its still hitting the frame or undercarriage no matter what.
Lastly, any rust that condensate would add is inconsequential. Puddles, snow, auto washes and rain all expose the frame / underneath to a lot more water ... Salt and corrosion is what people need to be aware of. Not water spray.

I mean yes the mod may work if people pull over and park while running the ac, but no one is doing that lol…

I really like how my truck looks with the pro grille on it, but I suppose that's all that really matters. Also, I manage a sober living house and have to kick folks out all the time, and was worried about some sort of retaliatory vandalism so put a locking gas cap on and thus lost the leash; the little cap holder I bought on Etsy has been very useful.

I heard raptor lights take you out of reality and put you in the 8th dimension. Help you see you when you drive through a mountain.

    Nah.
Nah. I average about 18. Fuelly says 17.5 but that also includes a 450 mile round trip with a trailer where I averaged about 9.

But I can also blame it on my overlanding Gobi roof rack and +1 tire size of 265/75/16. Does that get me enough poser credits to be kicked out of this thread or sufficiently looked down upon?

If not, I’ll throw in my subtle window stickers, a gas hole, pro grille, and dare I say it…. my round raptor lights. Oh, and a seriously stout pair of rock sliders that keep the road trash off my paint.

What the hell, add in some MESO pretties, anytime camera, ECT shift knob mod, and MESO molle ceiling panel.

Screw it, I’m all in: I’ve even got a Bussmann relay build going, an AGM battery, KDMax tune, redarc brake controller, a pair of bed stiffeners, a roof rack light bar (waiting for the Bussmann to be finished) and a pair of static climbing chalk bags to hold my chilled seltzer water for pussies.

Sometimes it’s not necessarily about the destination. But rather the build along the way. I figure I’ve been slowly tweaking MY truck for nearly 4 years. In another 2 years I’ll have it just about ready to drop a new trailer on the hitch for some fun.
