Not particularly related to Tacomas or any one particular mod, but I hate seeing people drop thousands upgrading their vehicle and yet will not bother to learn how to drive it well.

I'm from Alaska, grew up in Nome, then in Nikiski AK.

It is mountainess and vast. But it also has vast stretches of flat land. Including the continents largest desert. While Alaska can boast the single highest peak. Colorado has far far more peaks over 14k and hundreds more over 13k...

Most of Alaskas best mountains are located in south east Alaska, and ofcourse in Denali. You simply can not access 95% of Alaska without
    A. Owning a bush plane
    B. Having a wife with a bush plane
    C. Having a buddy with a bush plane.

Colorado on the other hand has great access to all the peaks. Some are incredible rugged like the 4x4 trail up Mt. Blanca, some have roads to the top like Pikes Peak.

Both states are mountain states, for me, it became an access issue. I like having forest service trails, and wide open vista's

Yeah, but even California has a higher peak than Colorado. I mean Colorado does not have a single summit in the 25 tallest summits in North America. Colorado does not even have a summit over 14,500 feet. So, picking summits over 14,000 is clearly cherry picking the criteria. Alaska has 10 summits over 14,500 ft. Only 2 of Colorado's 14ers has a prominence of more than 5,000 ft and none of more than 10,000. 4 of Alaska's 10 summits over 14,500 have a prominence of greater than 10,000 ft.

Not that any of this matters. We select where we live because of our preference. I prefer Alaska to Colorado for many of the reasons you prefer Colorado to Alaska.

I test mine every day although it's not a "mod" in my case. 40K and the filter looks like new (a few bugs). Only downside I've ever had is the "no carwash" issue.

    TV headrests.

I don't think people do that anymore, and many vehicles come with those as factory equipment.

I never got the hype behind them when it was popular.

Man I miss the TV mod. Especially the big drop down headliner TVs. Once got behind a Navigator on a road trip and I got to watch the second half of Shrek. I had to adlib my own sound though.

If I ever win Powerball, I'm going to hang my truck by the trailer ball and have it chrome dipped.
