What’s the most annoying “popular” mod

^^^^ this. Add head lights and tail lights. It’s funny I always see people running back to oem’s lights due to all the fogging, leaks, etc…

 

the $1500 led headlights claiming "better output than oem hid" are shit on output compared to stock...an '04 camry has better light output...ask me how I know

I do like the tailight conversions to old school style though...I put trd pro styles on (darker background) and plan to do that old school conversion...but it uses the stock housing, just changes how the lights light and I always change tails and turn signals to led...headlights...HID and halogen though...might add some high beam activated bars but stock headlights are better than I've found

I do prefer the fully encircled led drl oem's, odd my truck had that stock but when the body shop replaced mine after a dear hit they put the L's on it...need to get those swapped out. just wish they didn't dim when the headlights were on...doesn't make any sense for them too, they aren't bright enough to warrant dimming

IMO if it's plug and play it's an accessory not a mod.

The most annoying thing is NOT removing the dealer's decal/plate frames...

 

Saw a fancy new F150 yesterday with a big decal across the top of the rear window, a decal on the tailgate, and frame plates front and back.

They better have given that dude the deal of a lifetime.

When I bought the 4Runner I told them no decals. No problem. A year later when I bought my Tacoma the salesman emailed me back after I put the deposit down and mentioned it, on his own accord, that he wasn't putting decals on the truck when it came in.

I get people in just like a Camry or something just leaving a small rear decal on. For most it's more effort than it's worth to remove it. But I don't get being a rolling billboard for someone that probably ripped you off.

 

I learned from my grandfather to not advertise for the dealer. Later I had a mechanic that had a little shop. He took really good care of me, would pick my car up and leave it fixed in front of my house, he had a key for it, and lived around the corner. I put his license plate frame on an Audi he sold me, and he thanked me.

 

exactly!!! they aren't paying me enough to advertise for them

 

When I picked up my truck a couple of weeks ago I requested they didn’t put the decals on. They didn’t put the decal on but they put the license plate frame on so I chucked that too. It baffles me that people don’t mind that.

you can't see that unless you're IN the truck though.......not sure why that would be annoying...are you also so annoyed that someone black outs the auto shifter illumination? fucker is bright as fuck at night. geezus...complain about something you can see outside the truck at least

 

lol...nah it looks sick as fuck! Can't wait to get my arb bumper installed...can't find anyone to install it though. Saw a 3rd gen with an arb summit like mine...I was drooling. plus it's actually FUNCTIONAL...unlike most bs mods

 

if you put anything "raptor" on your tacoma I have to wonder why you didn't buy a ranger, at least that's the same brand...but sorta like putting mustang gt badges on a fiesta...or buy an actual raptor...like why buy a toyota and try and make it look like a ford...raptor lights, either the grill leds or tails are just lame
