What’s the ratio of Automatic to Manual Transmission Tacoma’s on TacomaWorld?

Found you get a better resale value of those trucks with automatics. Remember one dealer telling a buddy of mine that had a tacoma for 6 years, and decided to trade up. Dealer told him only thing saving that truck is its automatic tranny.

 

I had to order my manual transmission because there were none in the area. Had my choice of what ever I wanted in an auto.

 

If I was going to get a 3rd gen, I would get a manual. The shift knob needs to be heated though, I don't like shifting with cold fingers.

 

Same for any access cab v6 model in my area....dealers would have to order one. You might find a 4 cylinder manual access cab, but v6 auto's are extremely rare. Every dealer told are the same. You can get dd cabs up the ying-yang here with a manual or auto.
