35s, stock gears, typical armor, ov tune, best was 21mpg on my trip to and from Moab. Work commute is short stop and go, so usually around 16mpg there. Otherwise most trips involving the highway, itll get around 18-20mpg.

Have just over 31,000 and have been averaging 18.4 in the city (all stock). I'm a pretty mellow driver tho! :turtleride: I measure mine the old fashion way by taking the mileage between fill ups and diving by the number of gallons it takes to fill. The trip computer is always off by about 1-2 MPG (shows more). On trips off-road, I don't bother.

But you are wasting more gas that way. Your engine is equipped with DFCO. When you are in gear going downhill, you are using no fuel and saving your brakes at the same time. You manual or auto?

    Interesting.

Im getting 17 in winter, 18 in summer in the city. Running 275/70/17 c load KO2s. Also running premium SFOB. Fuel mileage was pretty much the same with the stock tune, maybe a hair worse.

I average 18 overall but some trips where I cruise around 45-55 MPH I can average 21-22 on a MT taco.

Not too bad. I have 27K+ miles on the odometer

Went from ~15.5mpg stock on speed-runs to Moab to over 19mpg after KDMAX.
    Similar numbers around town
    '17 OR MT, 85k.
    OVTune/KDMAX is well worth it.

I only put it in neutral on a couple long straight downhill grades where I'm not riding the brakes. With the engine braking/transmission downshifting(?) the rpm's will be higher and would not the computer be sending more fuel to cool the engine or another way to look at it is the auto transmission is programmed to up shift in order to lower rpm's and save fuel. If there was a tow/haul mode in order to have or not the engine braking then I would be less inclined to use neutral.

I’ve average over 20 mpg with 40k of miles on an all stock pro with 285/75/16s. I just keep the shifts under 2k and don’t speed. Every week I see at least 400 miles to a tank and often see 450 miles. Uncorrected speedo and tach with 285s and still hand calculates to over 20 mpg.
