Since we are stuck at home it’s a good time to get those pending projects done. I will be replacing my front rotors and pads, replacing my brake lines with braided stainless and flushing the brake fluid.

    what’s your project?

Well so far, due to a CEL the other day, I've replaced an ignition coil. When I pulled it out - it had oil on it, as did several others that I checked. So, yesterday I replaced both valve cover gaskets and put in new spark plugs. Got that done AND put down an epoxy coating on my garage floor, in one day. I thought that was pretty good!

You may want to slow down your pace, you may be home longer than you think.

This has been a blessing in disguise. I'm getting a lot done across the board. On the '49, I finally got around to doing the passenger side Altman latch which has proven slightly more challenging than the driver's side. But with some patience I've got it pretty dialed in. I'll work on the interior release for it today. On my Tacoma, I went over to the shop and got the coilovers adjusted where I need them to be so they're ready for installation now. Both trucks need to be cleaned today and the garage is in desperate need of some organizing too.

Mine .......crown molding. Ceilings are concrete, walls have metal studs, making it a bit more complex. At least for me.

    6 rooms
    360' of nailer board
    360' of 5" wood crown
    22 - 90* corners
    19 - 45* corners
Approx 900 nail holes to fill and smooth
720' of caulking. (Bead on top and bottom)
720' of taping. Once on bottom for caulk line, again on bottom for paint line
720' of painting (2 coats) of finish satin.
Moving of furniture for working room, clean up, etc.

Surely the 'all clear' will come before I'm done.

    Right?

Still working, however on weekends me and my wife cleaned the first floor of the house to be pretty spotless. This weekend I'm probably going to fill some holes in the yard that I've been ignoring for 5 years (lol). Might also make a new top for an old dresser out of very old reclaimed wood from my old shed floor. My wife has been bothering me about that.

This winter, I got a Low Range Off-Road battery box on clearance and will be putting my new Odyssey battery in it. I welded some brackets to it so I can use some J-clamps and had to clearance the top for the (+) lead (it was made for a Deka battery, not an Odyssey, but with some mods will work great) Just have to paint it and since I'm trying to limit unnecessary trips to buy rattle cans, will need to dig out the HVLP gun and paint it the real way. Next, I got a Rago Fab compressor mount that has room to spare so I'll be moving my ARB compressor over to the driver side and adding a Blue Sea systems breaker, a Hella micro relay box and moving my Blue Sea Fuse Panel. It was mounted to the OEM fuse lid and drives me nuts when I need to get in there to check fuses. With all that stuff moved and tidied up, I'm going to try my hand at adding a TRD CAI to my 2014 truck. I got a really good deal on the intake but since I have a 2012+ Taco, I'm going to have to get clever with some alterations to get the lower box installed right. I've already chopped it up a bit to clearance for AC lines and have some Kydex coming in the mail to form a piece and plastic weld it in. I'll post that in a separate thread.

With all this time under the hood, I'm glad I got around to installing the Redline hood struts I got for Christmas. Quarantine's kept me busier than ever!

Well I’m in school full time and half of my professors seem to have decided that since we’re all home now they should double the work load to make sure we don’t get bored. So I’ve mostly been sitting in my office under a pile of homework and staring longingly out the window at my garage. If this carries on into summer though I’ve got a victory 4x4 front bumper and some 14” 700lb icon springs that have been sitting on my bench since the fall that are priority one. Toy car is getting a new clutch soon and then the woman’s Jeep is probably about due for a breakdown so no shortage of projects here

Mine was the ECGS bushing last week.

That project wore me out so i’m bush hogging spring weeds.

I've been getting some gardening done, incubating quail and chicken eggs, and refinishing my scamp 5th wheel.

Oh you said during the quarantine? I'm working 36 instead of 50 hours a week as an essential employee supporting water, wastewater and food packaging plants with their automation needs.

Still feels like full time but my paycheck says otherwise.
