I am looking to get a 3" lift and bigger tires. This is my daily driver and I want to get a 3" lift with a smooth ride. Money is a bit tight so I dont want to spend too much on the lift as I need to buy bigger wheels also. I want to get bigger wheels and tires but give me some recommendations on tire size that do not require trimming and does not rub. Your feedback is much appreciated. Thank You in advance!

Sounds like you want a 3'' OME and a 1.5'' AAL in the rear with 285/65/your rim size tires.

They are a far upgrade from the stock suspension and they do not cost as much as a coilover like King, Fox, or Icon.

With that being said...I have Kings all the way around which would cost over 2k new. A full set of 5100s and a AAL would be less than $500. I had 5100s on my Tundra and loved them.

Plus if you are looking for functionally as well as looks, you are better off then getting a spacer lift of any kind.

Hey I was wondering how much all that roughly cost you or at least the whole toytec setup? I want to do something very similar to that, and was wondering how much the ome 885's ran you. Thanks.

Toytec Ultimate Lift kit will run you about a little over 1k...and that will be all you need to get 3 inches of lift

Long Travel will run you about 5-6k for just the front.

I would just buy the 5100s personally and get a TSB if your truck qualifies. That is the cheapest. You use the stock coils.

The ultimate lift incorporates new springs with the 5100s to make it like a Coilover. The Kit is also complete and will give you the full 3 inch of lift.

You should also keep your eye open on the forums...cause people get tired of their stuff and then sell it to buy new stuff.

I am currently lifted about 2.25 inches or so in the front and TSB in the rear.

k.. if I go with the 5100's, can the back be set higher than the fronts?

just asking.. want a small lift.. my tacoma (with shell) looks to be a little higher at the rear, with no rear TSB.. or should the 5100's be set same all around and a AAL if needed?..
