Let me take you thru my list of previous trucks....79 Bronco 4X4 351 ,F-250,
Grand Cherokee 04' Taco 05' 2DR Taco 06' 4DR Two 07' and 08'4RNR's and Now 07'FJcruiser that I traded out of the 4RNR's in for the FJ. Just bought the wife a new 11' RAV 4 AWD Sport. I've always wanted the H-1 Hummer as I was assigned one back in my Army yrs. I have had some other failed Truggies that were never quite trail worthy.

i would have a wrangler with the straight six . . . i wanted one so bad when i was 16, but when your parents make you pay for your own insurance and those babies roll over so bad i just couldn't do it.

Sir, if you're doing something crazy enough to roll a jeep on the street, you probably should calm down with the aggressive driving lol

the wrangler insurance is just higher than most vehicles because they are known for rolling. it had nothing to do with my driving style. i couldn't afford the extra $100 a month in insurance it would cost to get one. . . so i ended up with a Jeep GC which was POS btw.

My second truck of choice would be a 1997 to 2003 F-250, with the 7.3L turbo diesel!!!!! Preferably a 2003, because that was the last year they made the 7.3L. I had a 96 F-250 with the 7.3L and it could pull hell out of the ground:D. Sort of on the expensive side when oil change time came around (20 quarts or oil and an oil filter that resembled a coffee can)

A Hilux with a diesel would be one sweet ride. I saw a few when I lived in Japan, I wish the US versions had of kept the solid front end like the rest of the world. [IMG]

The new Hilux uses IFS just like our Tacoma's. Only major difference is the Deisel option and different frame now....but would be a sick truck either way!
