I put a new steel bumper on my front end and plan on adding more. Which 700# coils will be compatible with the Bilstein 5100 shocks that came with the Toytec ULK? preferably Eibach thank you

You need to put something better than 5100’s on with all that weight. 5100’s fade out quick with a lot of weight.

The problem is you need a larger diameter shock to hold more oil to prevent shock fade from happening to quickly with the kind of weight you are running.

I’ve had very good success with OME 886s (660#) regardless of OME not recommending the setup. We’ll see how long these 5100s last.

They are coilovers in a technical sense, but not the kind we are referring to. You want a reputable brand like ADS, King, or RadFlo. Notice I did not mention Icon or Fox and some of the PacSun shopping fanbois in here will swear by Icon and Fox but that’s because they just didn’t do their research. ADS and Radflo are the only brands that sell the same quality product to the public that they put on their sponsored race rigs, King is King and their quality stands for itself. Personally, I am a fan of ADS and have run their stuff on my Tacoma and 4Runner. Fully adjustable Coilovers with resis are the way to go or if you prefer to stick with billies, get 6112’s and put some 700# coils on them.

    These are adjustable ADS Coilovers.

No issues with sagging? The 660# seem like a good middle ground

No sag. I went from 885s to 886s after I removed my sway bar. That combination has made the truck very comfortable to drive on road and good on bumpy fire roads. Friends who have borrowed the truck remark how surprisingly nice it drives. The 886 was a great choice.

So Toytec is saying they have a 650# and 700# coil that are compatible with my 5100s no problem.

If you are going to wheel your rig on real trails, do not put 700# coils on 5100’s. You are setting yourself up for failure. Compare the lower part of the strut to other struts designed for OffRoad use and you’ll understand.

@TopKick it looks like the toytec ulk struts use a spring with a flat top and bottom as seen below with red coils and “normal” 5100s use a spring with flat top and angled bottom as seen below with silver coils. What that means is the 886 coils will not work on your toytec struts and you will need a flat top/bottom spring. Hope that helps.

 We have plenty of Tech Articles with countless hours of research that can help if the OP decides to replace front coilovers.
