What a beautiful sight..

I think it’s going to open up some possibilities for these trucks. I’m not sure it’s something I “need” (yet), but mostly I’m really stoked for the fellas and gals that have been asking for this. If it’s anything like results Ford gets outta the measly 2.7L V6 in the F150, the Taco is going to be in launch mode, once blown.

I hate to say it but if the majority of posts here are correct, the poor Tacoma is gonna have a bunch of broke parts because people will buy this and not know how to use it properly. You said it in the other post... broke CV along with other parts.

A guy with a new supercharger shifting into 4lo on dry pavement and doing one and a half doughnuts while filming it for instagram and youtube right before breaking his case in half... but not before he complains about shitty fuel economy... and he is from...

 

Well, I agree, but at least you gotta have the $6500 lying around. So you gotta be stupid, with disposable income........wait........I guess that’s almost everyone here.......myself included.........never mind.

 

I assume that these are a no no here in The People's Republic of Commiefornia...

 

A supercharger can add about double that easily. It'll probably be closer to a 70 or 80 hp gain, but yes still expensive.

 

Superchargers are allowed here actually, but they need to be CARB approved

 

Exactly... and getting that CARB sticker is nearly impossible and very expensive for the manufacturer. I won't get my hopes up...

Super happy there is an option to supercharge our 3rd gen Taco. It does open the door for more HP etc. 50 hp is a good start!!
