Be careful with Geico. My friend had it... got in an accident and it went to one of their "endorsed" shops. The hood was aftermarket, miss aligned, horribly painted, overspray, other body panels never re-aligned, glass not replaced when cracked.... the list is a mile long. Also, Geico is extremely over-priced... most of the time almost 2x what I get qouted from other insurance companies. I may be spoiled with USAA, but I've had to deal with Farmer's before in my 92 stealth when a guy backed into me.... that was impressive. Original parts, extremely excellent work.... the car looked BETTER than it did before the wreck. They even re-shot the clear coat on the wing... that shop was awesome. It's too bad it got shut down and torn down for another major shopping mall :/

What a little dip _hit! Sorry man. It never fails that the people who care most about their vehicles are the ones that get hit by inexperience, immature or drivers lacking the knowledge to pay attention behind the wheel of a vehicle. Too many times do I think that drivers become complacent and loose the skills they need to remain defensive. I hope your body work on the taco is as good as new when it's done.

i was a little skeptical about geicos claims when they told me all the goods about this endorsed shop but im not quick to judge anybody until you do me wrong everyone gets a chance in my book. the work should be fairly easy, replace access door and replace bed and 99% of the cosmetic damage is fixed. theres a small ridge that runs beneath the doors and that took a pretty good shot so i dont know how they will fix that. ive looked a few times and it doesnt look like any structural damage to the suspension. my steering got knocked a little outta whack the sterring wheel is at about 10 oclock now when im driving straight but i drove it home from the accident and felt no funny vibrations or heard any funny noises. i am going to take very detailed pics today for my records before i give it to them and will look it over and over and over before i accept it. thanks again for all your guys kind words in this time of hate/anger/dissapointment for me.

Yea, I agree to give someone the opportunity, just throwing out a word to be cautious. It was really that particular shop's issue, but even after geico looked at it, they said it was fine and would not pursue the shop to fix it up. That really turned me off from them :/ Keep your records and don't accept until you've gone through the truck, inside and out. Make sure to get interior shots of the cab too, a lot of shops will get grease on your dash/seats/ect.

thanks for the heads up didnt even think of that took like 30 of a 10 foot section of the truck and even hid a piece of scotch tape on the damged access cab door to see if they replace it.
